I had a question regarding companies providing fulfillment services like amazon.

I am going to build a website and have a supplier in mind. Do i need to send individual items from my wholesaler to fulfillment companies or I can send many items in one shipment(pallet) and as my order comes in from my website they shipped the products from that shipment my wholesaler sent them?

What are good fulfillment companies out there?.

Hi Sizzlingproducts,

As per Amazon, there is no required maximum or minimum quantity of products you can send to them for fulfillment since fulfillment fees are charged per order at the time of the sale.

Because you will be shipping your products to Amazon, it might be best to send in a group rather than individually to be more efficient and to save on shipping costs as well. When your customers place orders, Amazon will take care of packing and shipping the products to your buyers.

If you plan on send your inventory one-by-one then might as well ship your products yourself, rather than sending them to Amazon.

Hope this helps :)

Hi Sizzlingproducts,

Most order fulfillment centers that I have used in the past like Shipwire - Link hidden: Login to view or Fulfillrite - Link hidden: Login to view don't have a minimum or maximum on the amount of goods that can be shipped to them at any time. Also I tried Amazon fulfillment and I wasn't happy with their fee structure and service. At the other fulfillment companies I had a personal rep to whom I was constantly in touch if I had any questions.

Good Luck
