If you ship first class you can get them for free. To ship dvd with delivery conformation it's $4.55 and is 2-3 day delivery. That's the only way I ship (small items) go to your local post office and get them or Link hidden: Login to view boxsets will fit in the bigger mailers.

I buy bubble mailers size 0 and size 2 from SamsClub

0 Size mailers are $4.35 for 25
2 size mailers are $6.50 for 25

I generaly add about 60 cents to my shipping prices so my buyers are the ones actually paying for them.

I usually use USPS for all of my boxes. They are FREE!

You may also want to check out this site for other items such as tape and bubble wrap.

What is cheaper shipping a dvd, first class, or using bubble mailers? What shipping method do you use with bubble mailers? (it sounds like I'm being a smartass, but I really would like to know)

HAUS - Bubble mailers usually run around 20 cents buying in bulk -i was not aware the post office gave free shipping supplys for first class mail i always thought it was for PRIORITY MAIL only -it cost about $1.40-1.80 to send a dvd first class while the cheapest priority i think is $4.05 for a letter mailer............. TRiple g - yea i used to buy from PARROTHEAD they were actually a hour from my house -from what i understand they sold the business and the new owner screwed it up .

Yes priority mail is expensive and if your lucky will only get your item there 1 day faster. I ship all my bubble mailers first class in the united states and Air Post if shipping outside the USA.

Shipping first class in the US is between $1.11 and $1.78 And Canada Is a Flat $1.78.

I have never heard of Free shipping supplies for First class.
When Me and my wife sell clothes we sometimes. ship using the Flat Rate Ebay Priority mail boxes. But a note: the flat fee will in many cases be more to ship with the flat rate boxes then using your own.

Since aside from my ebay and salehoo ventures, I also work with a resturant 15-20 hours a week I aquire free shipping boxes all the time through the resturant. You can pretty much aquire free boxes from anywhere.

If you have a Kroger Supermarket , Or some other 24 hour store you can usually walk in while they are stocking the shelves and they are more then happy to let you take all the boxes you want. Keep this method in mind so you can have that perfect size box for your items. :D

I thought first class and priority were the same. I shipped parcel post one time and it took almost 2 weeks (just after christmas) I've allways shipped priority with delivery conformation but it sounds like I need to go first class.

Nope first class mail is a seperate mailing option. You can ship up to 2 dvd's in a bubble mailer. Any more and you would have to ship parcel post.

First class 1-3 days: Most of mine make it in 2
Priority Mail. 1-2 days: Most of the time it takes 2 days as well
Parcel Post 5-9 Days: Normally takes 4-10 days
Air Post: Shipment method for shiping internationally. Normally 6-9 days
Media Mail 5-11 Days in the US and Can take up to 31 days if shipped Outside the United States. Highly not recommended. Its only 20 cents cheaper then First class and 35 Cents cheaper then Air Post.

Media Mail starts at $1.59 im pretty sure - so it is cheaper to send first class for items under 1lb ..this is why i get mad when i buy a dvd from ebay and the seller sends it media mail so it takes 5-15 days when they should of sent it first class and saved a few cents and get the buyer the product faster .

I think the price is based on where you live. Im dead in the middle of the united states so it costs a tad less for me the lets say someone living near the coast.

I was looking on Link hidden: Login to view and they had 100 bubble mailers. I don't know if it's a good deal or not. It seems most of their wholesales items are high.

That price isnt bad but its not wholesale. Sams club is cheaper then they are.
