Is problematic to sell on ebay?

I mean, I want to sell through dropshipping. I understand that the market is saturated, but seek here do dropshipping suppliers of any product, and see if I have luck.
However, reading on eBay, in the community, say it is not advisable to do, and almost no one does because all fail.
Where is the truth?
Because reading the testimonies of Salehoo (I hope they are true), many have done well.
I do not know if I'm starting to be a pessimist, because I am spending many hours in research, and only helped me to have headaches.

Dropshipping is more or less discouraged on eBay but it is allowed. I think the main reason is the fact that the products are not with you (the seller) physically. eBay allows dropshipping so long as you can guarantee that the products will be shipped in a timely manner.
