I want to build up my feedback with ebay and have been listed as a buyer for a couple of years, but only very recently as a seller.
I really can't get my head around which country's ebay to register with. If I sell household things to start with I will more than likely sell to locals(NZers) otherwise shipping might be prohibitive.Ebay NZ is a small fish though compared with Trademe. If I have multiple ebay a/c's it will take much longer to build up feedback. I haven't been able to make any headway with conflicting advice from ebay live help either. What do other Kiwis do?? I'm confused.

When you sign up you sign up with your local ebay division. When you create your auction you can select which countries you will ship to and your listings will appear on those country sites.

Thanks again Jimmy,
Finally a straight forward reply. No-one has ever explained it clearly to me before. It's a relief actually. Small and seemingly inconsequential details like that can cause me to stall as a beginner.

I tried to list on ebay NZ but there isn't one, even though there is a homepage and a link on the .com site.
So now I'm registered with ebay Aus as well as .com
I'll see how I go with them both - and maybe merge them later if necessary.
