Hiya!
Does Trademe have any of the tools that eBay does for finding info on what products sell the most of, the fastest, don't sell...you know, all that helpful stuff that will help me to make an informed decision on what to sell??
Also, I have been searching for wholesalers and it seems that a lot of the sites I get directed to are not wholesalers at all - in fact retailers. What's up with that? It seems there is a lot on here to weed through before actually finding a decent wholesaler! Am I doing something wrong??
Cheers!

Thanks Drena,
Yes I was having a fiddle around in TM and discovered exactly what you suggest. Pron the only way to so it in NZ I guess. I did think about suggesting it to them and will send them an email. Maybe they are actually working on it now. Its equally as beneficial to them.

Are you in NZ also?

Do you have any other hot tips about finding a wholesaler? I have researched so many of them on Salehoo and i really haven't found any that either sell what I want or are financially viable what with the conversion rates and shipping etc.

Thanks, I appreciate your reply.

Well I did think about importing NZ butter back from OZ!!! Do you know that it costs $1.50 for a pound of Anchor butter in OZ and $4 in NZ!!
But jokes aside.
I work in the health and fitness industry so I have been trying to find manufacturers or wholesalers for really funky gym wear, exercise equipment etc - all good quality stuff. But no joy.
What do you mainly sell?

Hi there,

Nice to see some NZ'ers on here :)

No there's none of the tools that Ebay has, but if you click on the Community tab at top of the page, the next page will give you some site statistics and sell through rates for different categories. When I first started selling I found these to be invaluable.
