I have only ever sold on ebay and have always used photobucket and auctiva to host my pics and i wondered if anyone had any information on renting server space to host all my product photo's, if its better that is, is this easy? is this cheap? is it worth it? shall i just stick with 3rd party hosts?, any info much appreciated :) Stirfry

A partnership that I am in rents server space, and that decision was made on the savings we would make, but we have several of our own websites to cater for, not formats like eBay and so on.

If you're only talking about photos for eBay and the like, I couldn't see the payoff for you. Far better off using what is freely available.
