I had the same problem way back. Funny enough it was for an xbox360 bundle I was selling. Same types of messages I got.. buyer wanted me to ship to Nigeria etc etc. I talked to ebay live help and got the fees refunded. Good idea would be to put in large letters in description 'SHIP TO USA ONLY' if you don't ship internationally and if you are selling it as buy it now, you can use the 'Immediate Payment Required'. That should help you cut down such problems of scammers. One of my fake buyer wanted to send me $5000 for that xbox360 bundle and then wanted me to refund him his 'change' ! Its funny how they never stop trying the same old tricks.

now the person bought 4 of them and sent basically the same emails but with different names and some other changes, how do i make it so we dont have to leave feedback for each other and just remove these totally?

im emailing ebay about it right now.

Did you recieve payments for all of these items? If you did you need to refund these payments immediately. Do not spend any of the funds. Because in a few weeks when the credit card companies find out about this then you will have chargebacks on you paypal account.

A buyer telling you they live in Nigeria should be like a girl at the bar telling you she has AIDS.

You're not going to get ripped off 100% of the time, you wont get AIDS 100% of the time. By why would it be worth the risk?

I would not only report them, but block anyone who has 1 or below feedback from bidding.

Its found under 'preferences'

Obviously the person is liable to do it again and is a fraudster. Even when my stock was legitimate goods, I got 20 emails from the same scam website asking me to participate. I had to block all of the addresses, it seems to go on during weekdays.

The other thing to be aware of is staying away from Brand names is a good idea for now. There is clearly a crackdown in effect, possibly everywhere.

There is plenty of other things to sell rather than brand name goods, I would strongly advise do that instead and get rid of all your stock.

SCAM ALERT....Do not sell ANYTHING to Nigerie, they use illegal means to pay and you lose the product! If they have become unregistered, mark them as unpaid item and list it as unregistered buyer, you will at least get your final valuie fees Ebay charge you back!

First of all, any one buying your item on ebay using the 'buy it now' option or winning an item through an auction listing, does not have to email you requesting your 'paypal email address'. All they have to do is click on the paynow button and pay through paypal..All of that will be done automatically..

If they email you and ask for that info, that's the first red flag that it's a scam..

Secondly never answer any of those emails even if they seem to look official..If it's legit, then it should be in you message box in your 'my ebay'..

Thirdly, clicking on, or in some cases even opening these types of emails can allow the sender to plant a 'keyboard virus' onto you comptuer..Once they do that they can get any and all the information they wish from your computer. this means account numbers, passwords, user names and Identification info..

The Nigerian scams are the most prevelent on the net. They send fake official looking emails, pay with fake money orders, fake western union notices, and the list goes on and on..They will even send you an official looking paypal notice staying that you have received payment to your paypal account..But there will be no money there...

Stay away from anything to do with Nigeria, Russia, Romaina..it's just not safe..
