Hi there,

I live in Canada but I want to order something from the US store. The store does not ship to Canada. So I register a US mailbox to send my stuff there and then the US mailbox company will ship it to me in Canada.

The problem is not the US mailbox. But the problem is when I use my visa card to pay for my stuff online. I can't go true it. They ask for Billing address in the U.S. like state, postal code. I try to put Canadian address in it but it doesn't work.

Does anyone have this experience before ? Please help me out.

Thanks,
Joe

Maybe I'm missing something here, but why aren't you using the US address that you are paying for as your billing address, and just have any invoices forwarded to you from there?

Yes, I try to use the US address for billing address. But it doesn't match with my credit card information. When I put the US address, It says my credit card number is not correct, please re-enter the credit card number.

I guess the address of my credit card is in Canada. That's why when I enter US address. It doesn't match with my record.

Any advice ?

Thanks,
Joe

That's one I haven't actually come across before, usually the billing address can be entered to reflect any address you want the invoice forwarded, it's not tied to the credit card information.

I'm guessing someone else has experienced the same drama so hopefully they will be able to point you in the right direction, but I would contact the company you are purchasing from and clarify the situation with them, maybe they could be of assistance in processing the information.

Thank you so much fudjj.

It works now !!

You're right. The billing address is not tied to the credit card information. I can use the US address as a billing address.

The point is I typo my name when I fill in the credit card information (missing 1 letter) . How stupid I am !!

Thanks,
Joe
