Thanx for the reply,

and you don't think it's too big for displaying, Takes also along time for the pictures to load up isn't it ?

Here is a trick. Don't worry about pixels. Use photo software like Photoimpact.

You can enlarge the size of the picture so it takes up more space than eBay gives you.

What you do is make the photo transparent. Meaning you use the software to eliminate the background or make it clear so the background comes through.

Then past it on another background but make it square. 400x400. Make the background any color you want blue white whatever.

But before you paste the transparent image make it 450x450 or bigger.

So when you paste the image onto your background it is larger inside the new background.

Now when you upload it to eBay the item you are selling takes up a lot more space inside the square eBay gives you.

Your item will stand out because it is bigger. It draws more attention and almost appears like it is a special listing.

You can also write on the pic using Photoimpact. You could say BEST or BEST DEAL. And another trick I shouldn't give because it is pretty kool is this.

Now this takes some work to learn and you will spend several hours learning this but you can actually create a colored strip around your picture.

So now your pic will be extra large and have a colored edge. I have made picture look like they were glowing using this trick and photoimpact.

How much did you get for Pam?

Great friend you are, you could have at least told me you were throwing her on auction...lol

I use Corel to manipulate images, but any good photo imaging software is a really good tool to have if your are serious about creating a solid listing!

Pam is just hot.

Believe it or not she wasn't a big seller. But man what a torso.

Well you have her picture mate! Just copy and paste.

I tried Corel and for the volume I was doing photoimpact was better.
Though I used Corel to spiff up pix which I think did a better job.
Photoimpact is like using a smaller basketball to shoot hoops. I could just get my hands around it better.

And forget about ADobe. Though its transparent tool is better for messy backgrounds its to cumbersome for me.

Don't worry mate, got plenty of pam pics already...lol

Haven't used photo impact, but know what you mean about Adobe......and totally agree about the transparent tool...nice!

I'm just so used to Corel now, second nature to me, been using it since version 3, that's 10 versions ago now...lol

Bottom line, it doesn't have to be a top shelf graphics package, just a basic one will give you far more freedom to make your images more professional, and anyone who has worked in sales or marketing will know the importance of product presentation!

A lot of people swear by Corel. It is an excellent tool no doubt.

I love the one button image enhancer.

When I started, I sampled all three I mentioned and I just ended up with Photoimpact and I was really looking for a quick fix with transparency and PI gave it to me.

It is definitely not up to par with Corel or Adobe as a complete solution or power
but I am used to it.

Going with what you're comfortable with is always the best policy, I know some high end adobe designers that turn their nose up at Corel, and fair enough to a point, but it does everything I need it do do so what the hell!
