Hi, I'm very new to the whole selling business and wanted to know if any one can tell me about a dropship website based in the US, that they have used before and would recommend?

Is there such a thing as a good drop company?

Ok, that might be below the belt, but I seriously doubt if anyone is making a good living off selling drop shipped items, apart from the drop shippers themselves of course....they have a huge smile on their face having everyone else do their work while they get all the profits.

Before I get shot by all the drop ship fans, I better leave some useful tip...lol

MKenterprize is one name that seems to be a reliable source throughout the forum, although some seem to think there are cheaper options.

Plenty of companies offering such as Doba and that type of thing, but the trick is how you manage to make money when there is little or no margin left?

Apart from that, if you are new to the selling game, then consider the fact that with a drop shipper there are three parties involved in your transaction, and your control over bringing the transaction to a successful conclusion as the seller involved is very limited!

Of course if the transaction doesn't go smoothly, you are the one in the customers target, saying ooopps...sorry, not my fault...doesn't wash when someone has paid you for the item!

If you are considering selling on ebay the just start with things around your house. Learn the system, make your mistakes & move on from there. I've been selling on eBay for years & still really don't buy a lot of pallets. Also check out yard sales, thrift stores & consignment shops. Every now & then dollar stores get items that will make you a pretty good profit too!

What I've found with my eBay sales is that I seem to sell to people in more rural areas of the country. Not as many people in big cities like LA, NY or DC have purchased things from me. So, those smaller cities offer less shopping & dollar store items can work very well!

Good luck!
