Hi,
I am not from US and willing to visit US next week, but i am not sure to which state/city i should head to.
I am setting up a new e-commerce site for fashion, baby, and general merchandise.
I will be selling brand names (authentic only) and non-brand names.
Please advise on the best city that is loaded with the kind of wholesalers i am looking for.

Thank you,
Ehab Hatem

Hello Ehab,

Sorry but it's hard for me to say as our suppliers are located from all over the US, plus the ability to filter search results based on local location is not currently supported.

I suggest doing a search in our directory now and selecting which suppliers meet your requirements and then narrow down your choices based on location (which you'll know after visiting each supplier site).

Hope this helps!

Hi Richellemonfort,
I am just confused between New York & Orlando.
Can you please advise on the wholesale places at both cities?

Thank you,
Ehab Hatem

If you're looking for a city in the US to shop wholesale, try Atlanta. While the selection isn't nearly that of New York, the cost of accommodation and getting around is vastly cheaper, and the Americas Mart is a serious wholesale venue that runs year-round.

If you're looking specifically for kids' stuff, the ABC Show in Las Vegas is probably the key event for you to attend -- the next one is in October.

Also, if you're looking to export specific brands, it might be helpful to contact those brands directly to see if they have representation/distribution in your country.

Thanks frank for the information.
I have also read that Orlando has the biggest shopping space in the US, having 100s of Outlet malls, liquidators, etc.. and hotels there are fairly inexpensive compared to NY.
Can you please confirm that?

Thank you,

Hello Ehab,

I haven't been to Orlando, but based on the reviews I read online by googling 'Orlando shopping reviews" Orlando does seem like a great shopping destination! Although I did not read anything about wholesale, there are certainly more than a handful of outlet stores for some high end brands!

You might want to search for the reviews on Google and read through them yourself :)

Enjoy your trip!
