I had a look at their website and I like some of their items, but I wanted to know if anyone has experience trading with them? Link hidden: Login to view.

Also, does anyone know where I can get suppliers of office wear? A lot of the US wholesale sites do not really have pencil style work wear. The ones I see on Alibaba or Aliexpress have all copied celebs dresses or other designers so I am not sure about selling these items even if I do an ODM. I am not sure if the designs are copyrighted?

Thanks.

Hi Nancy,

I have no personal experience dealing with appareldeals, but can't find anything that would raise any red flags for me. With regards to other suppliers, have you looked through our directory at all?

Hi Nancy,

I, along with most here, know exactly how you feel, especially when you're just getting started. Hours and hours of research, well that bad news is that it never gets better lol. If you're not researching suppliers, you're researching products or your competitors to ensure you know where you are in the market all the time.

Nature of this type of business, 90% of it is pretty much research.

Hi Nancy

I agree with Mark, it is hours of research. It took me a long time, but it has paid off. I emailed/phoned/skyped suppliers, I had narrowed down.
I also did internet searches to find out more about each company. Finally I put in small trial orders so that I was not loosing much if I had made a big mistake. Thankfully I haven't been ripped off, but I think that was because I read forum comments on Salehoo regularly, have been doing the training offered and researching the companies.

A long the way I ended up changing what I wanted to sell, but that has made it easier.

Yes, some websites are very difficult to navigate and with some you are unable to buy online, but do not let that discourage you if you see a product that you would like to sell. That's where numerous emails, phones and Skype conversations come in.

Now some of my suppliers are not ones I found on Salehoo, but after successfully using the tools and training Salehoo provided, I have been able to build up a small list if suppliers that I am happy to use.

I'm glad to hear that you're well on the way Kim and glad that we have given the tools to help you get to where you are and hopefully, a lot further as well.

Thanks for your comments to Nancy, getting that sort of feedback from members who have already traveled that road is always helpful to others.

Cheers
