Most companies from China only do Bank Transfers. Seems if you buy bulk from them then they will allow PayPal.

From my understanding, or should I say from a seller in China that tried to explain this to me, is that China doesn't really have a Paypal system. Most of the companies have to register with Paypal in Hong Kong, and since there is some sort of conversion fee or transfer fee to send the funds from Hong Kong to China, most sellers wont even touch Paypal payments unless it's a really large sale. I don't know if I buy this excuse or not, but it may be something to look into.

I don't know about that ..seems if you buy in bulk with MK he'll allow paypal.....but for one item he wants a wire transfer. .....So he does take paypal...

I'd also be interested to know if anyone else has dealt with MK myself, as I have recently just bought a phone, and i'm about to pay, but noticed their only method is bank deposit which has no security and is used by most scammers.

So I'm a bit curious about them.

Please post all your experiences with MK here.

Hi

I bought from MK Europe which is their UK company. Got a Samsung D830 and received it within 7 working days with full tracking. I'm definitely gonna buy again. Oh and I did a bank transfer too, completely safe so don't worry. Ta!

I don't see anywhere where they supposedly accept paypal payments.
You'd think they would have that option on all their country sites.

Personally I do not see that they have great prices anyway. Not one that I would shop at first. Though I'm new to Salehoo I'm not new to wholesalers. The prices I see at MK are what I would consider 'good retail prices'.

It seems that no one has actually made a bulk order from MK, which actually forms the biggest problem for most of the people here and on alibaba. Single unit orders turned out fine but no one has dared to place a bulk order as yet.

Hi,

MK Enterprises say that they do not accept Paypal, But if you join there dropshipping service it costs $55 made payable via Paypal, so if they accept paypal for this why not for orders????????????

Well its possible they are trying to avoid paypal processing fees. 55 bucks doesnt have much of a processing charge through paypal but when you get into thousands of dollars your talking a few hundred in paypal fees they loose for the sales.

Does this company provide the proper charger adapters for the different countries or does each package get the same adapters? I live in the US and noticed that Asian uses a diffrent type of voltage system.

Before you purchase they calculate shipping costs so you can see what you are paying before you purchase (hint: it is much cheaper to ship say 5 items than one at a time ;) )

Hi,

I have used MKeurope, more than happy with the service, paid to there UK bank account, whole process took 7 days in total with delivery taking just 4 days!!

They may not be the cheapest 'wholesale' around but seem reliable, i signed up and used the dropshipping service and items always get sent quickly, postage cost's are quite high and are the same whether you dropship or not, the advantage of dropshipping from them is that you can set the item value for import duties.

Plus with the dropshipping account you can download the graphic packs for each product with your own watermark on them, and the pictures are excellent too.

Hope this helps

Pete

Hi, I'm registered with mkenterprise and actually signed up for the their drop shipping service. The prices are exactly the same as their wholesale prices, the only difference is that you can buy single items with the drop shipping package.

I never actually got to order from them as a scammer screwed my sale on eBay.

Since then I found this forum and after reading this thread I have now registered on the mkeurope as I'm UK based and have asked them to transfer my drop shipping subscription.

I know they may not be the cheapest on certain items but they do have some items which you could leverage a decent profit.

I think I might try and order something on the low price end and see if it arrives. If it does then I'll order more.

I promise to come back to you guys and let you know how I get on.

i am in the same position, where i have signed up but haven't actually ordered anything as of you. i did manage to speak to the guy on the phone with that number listed in their contacts list. he always picks up and goes 'hello, how can i help' or just 'hello' not very professional but nevertheless, he's very helpful in explaining how the whole process works with setting the value on tax etc.

but i have still yet to order from him. can anyone else shed any light on this company?

thanks

OK so I had some email communication with the UK guy yesterday and he's agreed to transfer my drop shipping account to the UK account. Also I can pay directly into their UK bank account.

He did ignore my question on the PayPal payment which I find strange.

Also all items still ship from Hong Kong but he said to be aware of the VAT that needs to be paid coming into the UK that is dependant on the shipping cost.

I'm not sure about it. Need to decide whether it's cost effective.

I'm also worried about selling an item and then having a long wait time for the buyer. i would probably take the risk and have it delivered to myself so I know I have it.

I'll keep trying to figure it out.

I don't like how they inflate their prices. For example, since the pink DS Lite was sold out they put their price up to 160 instead of 130, which is how much they cost. You can't sell em when they boost the price so high. It's like a retail store.

To everyone dealing with MK, I have rang them recently enquiring about buying in bulk, they told me only if you buy 50+ of the same items, then you may get a bit discount depends on their margin. So far I think their price is still a bit excessive, to those who want to sell it online, should take into consideration the shipping cost, which in the end your would proberly only making 5-15% profit.Good luck to all!!

Mk enterprise so far has not given us any reason to believe they scam anyone but as we have said noone has ever ordered a large bulk order from them. But they have fullfilled every small order that our members have placed.

I had email conversation with someone from the Europe site as i was totally confused as to why they had two sites, and if using the Uk one would make stuff any quicker - which it wont.

The guy said i can pay cash and collect goods while i'm in Hong Kong (which will be in a few weeks), so if anyone is interested, i'll let you know how the personal service works and what everything looks like.

If all goes well, i'll be buying some camera's from them in the very near future.

Yes please do that, and post your feedback in here, that would be great.

I am close to placing an order around $1000 but I need some others feedback in regards to service, and wheather they actually send the items I pay for.

Hi, Ive just placed an order on a PS3 and I live in the UK. I paid by bank transfer and am now waiting for it to be cleared. The one thing that I am worried about is Import tax and Duties as it is coming from HK although I used their UK site. I just hope it arrives safely with no extra costs.

:D I have used them once so far... Sent promptly and very well packaged ( a little too good as it was in a box at least ten times the size of what the product was )... I paid $370 New Zealand Dollars for a phone and then sold it for $450. I know for a fact that the product was 100% authentic because when it entered the country our customs examined it! Thanks MKENTERPRISE.... keep it up! Cheers, Kayne

hi guys,
this is very much interesting reading here, i myself was looking at mk to and the only thing which i liked was that they use hsbc bank which is in london and H/k and yep sending money from one account to the other is a risk but at least if things did go belly up then for me myself would go back to the bank and play murder with them..i might not get my cash back but at they will do what they can to get to the bottom of that sort of buisness..
anyway like one member said there prices is not that great anyhow as for ie...ps3 for

Unfortunately that may very well mean you will never do business with a chineese company as only 3% of chineese businesses accept credit card payments.

Thanks jimmy.....yep your correct sir...i do not trust this w/u or T/T stuff as theres to much at stake here...
The problem ive got with MK is that there shipping charges is to high and no profit as my goverment will slam me with inport duty's ect...as ive gave you a ie..above..
but saying all that i still want to trade with china but im going to go there myself and get some good honest contacts and also research companys before i/we trade...
I think thats the best way of really getting a feel for products and prices and the company your dealing with...

As for Mk with there products i have not heard of copy products from anybody to date...but there prices seem to me no profit here in the uk...it may be ok for other's but not me...

best wishes..

I personally think they are cheap compared to most wholesalers but if anyone has any info on any others i would appreciate it. Some of thier items are high, but as you have noticed they still have several items that sell well enough below ebays prices. Its like most wholesalers today, Most are priced high but some can still have profit potential. You just have to research.

I've had chinese suppliers say they don't accept paypal because of of the requirements. They are required to have $2,500 a month in transactions, withdrawals from their paypal accounts are only done by check for U.S. dollars and can take up to 60 days to receive.

Idefinitelly do not agree, their prices are away too high to make profit. It is only good for ppl to buy privately themselves. How can you make profit after custom taxes and shipping? sony memory stick pro duo 2 gb is sold there for 76 usd!! when 4 gb is only 46 usd in china!!
Mk is just a retailer I can say like many here.

I lived in China for many years. China has very strict currency laws with US dollars. You have to apply to the Govt before you can withdrawl funds in dollars. A lot of companies open a dummy office in HK becuase they have an independant system, or what they call a SAR. They don't have the currency laws like on the mainland. This is how they get around the mainland laws. However, they didn't have COD until 1995 so they are just behind the curve. Any mainland based company will require TT before your order is processed.

Hmm.

The average retail price for the 4 Gb is on average $129.00 at any retail outlet in the USA. Try Link hidden: Login to view as a comparison.

If you're trying to compare ebay's selling price to retail then you're comparing from the wrong source. Ebay is currently selling these things way below wholesale.

So your quote that MK is just a retailer is incorrect. They are a wholesaler. Their prices are good on these items. But if you're trying to make a profit on this item it's the wrong item to choose.

Now there's one thing you have to know about how MK operates. If they get low quantities of products they raise the price on the site so they don't sell as much. I asked them about this a while back, So if you see the 2gb above retail then they probably don't have many.

The other thing is that, Yes they have to make profits too. The units you see on ebay mainly come from sellers buying direct from the manufacturer. And the sellers have dropped the prices so low to compete with each other that the profit margins on these items are so low that your average DVD seller makes more money then the sellers of the memory stick units.

I have seen these on several items I have sold. I find a niche item and start selling them for prices above retail. Then Joe shmoe and a few others notice what I'm doing and start selling the same item. I quickly watch the profit margin on each sale drop more and more as these idiot sellers try to flood ebay with the same item. I recently had 2 items that were bringing in $25 profit on each item, I was the only seller of said item. As soon as other sellers tried flooding ebay with these items the profit margins dropped from $25.00 to $3.00 each item. This is the same situation with the memory sticks. They are selling at their rock bottom prices.

So if you're wanting to make a profit on these, good luck cause it's doubtful you can.

How does the compatibility work with these phones to other countries? For example I live in Australi, these phones are comming Asia, what implications does this have for say the warranty? Would it have any differences for anything else?

I don't think the PS3 prices are that bad. From what I worked it out as, one unit costs GB£275.50 if you buy 10, inc. shipping (total £2775.00 approx, depending on exchage rate). I was sceptical just like a lot of people, however I put a joblot of 10 for sale on ebay, and they sold for £3,140. Just waiting for ebay buyers payment now before I purchase from MK, internet security company McAfee have a 'Site Advisor' service where users can post comments about any website. So far, MKs site is rated OK for use. By the way, what is their european website?

. Ebay is currently selling these things way below wholesale.

So Your quote that MK is just a retailer is incorrect. They are a wholesaler. Their prices are good on these items. But if your trying to make a profit on this item its the wrong item to choose.

Now theres one thing you have to know about how MK operates. If they get low quantities of products they raise the price on the site so they dont sell as much. I asked them about this a while back, So if you see the 2gb above retail then they probably dont have many.

The other thing is that Yes they have to make profits too. The units you see on ebay mainly come from sellers buying direct from the manufacturer. And the sellers have dropped the prices so low to compete with each other that the profit margins on these items are so low that your average DVD seller makes more money then the sellers of the mem stick units.

I have seen these on several items I have sold. I find a niche item and start selling them for prices above retail. Then Joe shmoe and a few others notice what Im doing and start selling the same item.

So if your wanting to make a profit on these, Good luck cause its doubtfully you can.

Hi Jimmy, I am not going to sell memory sticks, cause I was selling them 2 years ago when there were not so many sellers. I mean Mk prices are ok but after paying tax and shipping there is no profit for almost all products. Sony Ericsson - W880i costs 372 usd before shipping and tax on mk. On ebay 387 usd. So you can't make money there or 5 usd is not profit for 450 usd. If I import them bulk 20-50 of them after tax and shipping I cant make money in my country either, cause than it is still expensive than many shops. It is good that some people makes money buying from MK. I have been here long time now and following updates but not writing much, it doesnt mean that I do not know prices, as a staff on salehoo, some of you are so aggressive towards us, when we write negative about some companies on Salehoo! If I say that Mk`s prices are not good for profit, I mean it. Why do you have to feel that you have to protect them? Othewise there are some good wholesalers here that you can make good money buying from them, although I haven't made any business with them yet. We also wholesale and sale some products, I know they have to make profit, but I say again MK has not so good prices for third person.
Thank you.

What is the latest on this company?

I still dont understand why they accept paypal for there dropshipping program and they wont accept it on a single order for around $100 which makes the fee still not alot. Please salehoo get to the bottom of this for us and try to find out for sure if they can be trusted using a bank transfer. Thanks

You have to understand. Paypal does its best to charge the crap out of you. A payment of 100 dollars they charge you around 10 bucks as the seller accepting the payment. Can you imagine the cost for a 50,000 order.

They agreed to accept paypal payments for thier dropship program because we pushed them into it for our buyers.

Mkenterprise is a chineese company, They are also a large company that primarily only sells in large bulk. If you want to see considerable discounts you have to order in bulk.

They sell in small increments only for thier ebay buyers. The shipping prices are high because shipping for china in general is horribly high.

They are working to build warehouses in the UK, Austrailia, Ney York, And Germany. But untill that happens the prices will just be the way they are. And they will continue to take only bank transfers.

ive made 2 purchases with these guys. the first one was ok but it was just 1 item then the second purchase i decided to get 3 items but i was first hit with the customs taxes which pushed the cost price above my sale price and to top it off one of the items was faulty but because i only noticed it 3 days after receiving it they would not refund or replace. beware, not to be trusted

Hi
i've used MK on atleaset 5 occations now. they are quite professional, and i like their ebay support as well. i've dropshiped 2 items, which reached customers in 5 days (one was shipped to Algeria).
However, i agree that their prices are not competitive at all. most of the wholesale prices they quote can be matched and even lowered on eBay. so i dont see any point in getting goods from them and then selling them on ebay, since the competition from HK will simply lick u dry. so after having a dropship account with them and an ebay setup i have come to the following conclusion:
1. Customer Service: very good: they are extremely polite. however, its better to call them than email, as calling gets things done faster
2. Dropshipping: though the service is good, the cost of shipping is excessive(package to algeria carrying a mobile phone cost $90AUD)
3. Wholesale: got 5 ipod nano and 3 Samsung mobile phones. but with the prices they were sold to me, i dont see myself making any profit, what with the shipping charges

All in all, good retail but not so good wholesale. However, dont worry about getting scammed, because they are quite legit.
one more thing: i've only paid through bank transfer and never had issues.

I have done small order a while back about 2 years ago it was during Christmas time. I had placed the order early November I received my merchandise mid December I would not recomend them. They were hard to contact they only would accept emails and never replied to my emails. I personally like DHgate.com and Beltal.com they both accept paypal they have they same thing as MK Enterprise does but never had any problem.

You might want to google MKEnterprise and make your own decision.

Hi geraldg691, welcome to the forum :)

Actually MK Enterprise is no longer a part of the SaleHoo directory. A year or couple of years back we had numerous member complaints against them - most of which we hope have been resolved. We tried contacting them ourselves but it came to a point that they just didn't respond to any of our emails. So due to the complaints and poor customer service, SaleHoo decided to remove them off the directory for good!

So, like you we do NOT recommend this supplier to any of our members.

It would be nice if you can add a review on DH gate's profile page about your experience in dealing with them.

Cheers!

PS Kindly add a photo to your profile, it would be much nicer seeing smiles than the gray silhouettes :)
