How can i ensure that i am buying from trustworthy sellers, also how can i avoid fakes? Obviously i can read the feedback but i am assuming that this could all be faked aswel.
Thanks in advance.

Hi catto88,

Seems like ioffer doesn't really have a nice reputation in general. If you do a random search on Google ioffer+scam you'll be amazed with all the negative posts and reviews about them.

Rule of thumb is to check the seller's feedback, you'll have a relatively better chance of receiving real products from sellers with a lot of feedback. A few have suggested to just buy the product elsewhere.

Hi catto88,

You're right, feedback can be faked and iOffer doesn't get moderated as well as eBay does its sellers/listings. I don't think it is a good place to buy branded goods from, I have bought from a couple of sellers and got the items delivered to my door, but confirmed the designer ones listed are not genuine. And note that except with eBay where PayPal has special arrangements, Paypal disputes at iOffer does not cover "Not as Described". They'll only answer for those "Item not received" so my complaints were closed with the fact that 'tracking number has been provided'. Hope my bad experience helps. :)
