When you search on 'wholesale clothes' on Google a site called Island Wholesaler comes up. I can see that this company is listed here at SaleHoo, but nobody have tried them, right?

They seem to be pretty good. I just wanna know if they are legit or not. Thank you.

As far as I know this company is legit. They have been in business online since 2003 and I have yet to find any complaints on them.

FROM THERE WEBSITE

FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: International Orders are welcome however must be prepaid by bank wire transfer or Western Union only. Credit cards will not be accepted for orders originated from or delivered to an international location.

Q: How do I pay for my order?
A: We verify each order placed online by phone and once verification is completed, payment is arranged in one of the following ways:

PLEASE NOTE: Orders placed online using a credit card are not charged automatically. We will contact you before any payment.

@drena - Thanks for replying, although the question was from a 2007 thread, I also would like to add that Island Wholesaler is currently listed in the SaleHoo directory:

and there are reviews you can read at the lower part of the page. :)

Cheers!

The main reason I can think of is that fraud is a just serious issue with international orders. In accepting credit card payments, retailers/suppliers can be slapped with a chargeback many months after the order has already been shipped, and once this happens there is nothing the business owner can do. This must be the main reason why some USA based retailers are not that willing to take the risk. :(

ok thank you for that

i was thinking the same thing with the wire transfer and westren union that once they have my money they dont send goods.

but in saying that they seem to have good reveiws guess i will just study them a bit more before making my decesion.

Solid rating on BBB over the past 3 years, always a pretty good sign.
