HI there,

Just wondering, has anyone had any trouble lately with Queen Bee of Beverly Hills? I wrote a post ages ago asking whether they were legit and someone from SaleHoo said they were a trusted supplier. I joined their wholesale program a few months ago & have had good communication with them but I still haven't bought anything as yet and it's now been a couple of months since I've been on their site. I tried to go on there this morning and their site wont come up at all now.

I noticed a post on here about them being in a bit of legal trouble and i was wondering whether perhaps they are now unsafe to deal with?

Any news or ideas?

Hi Kristen,

We have temporarily removed this supplier from our database until we hear back from them. It does appear that the company may have collapsed and we will update this thread again if any new information comes to light.

Let us know if you need other supplier suggestions and we will be happy to help you out.

All the best!

You might want to check out this link at ripoff report.

I dont know anything about them but I did a quick search.

And yes, their site is down at the moment.

I think we can hold off on an immediate accusation but if their site doesn't come back up, we might be advised otherwise.

Hi Planes,

I also read the rip off report. That was one of the articles on the net along with a court case against the design house chloe which resulted in a dismissal of the case. Chloe were accusing them of selling knock offs of their bags. I have checked the website again and its accessible again but i would love to know whats going on! Even though the court case documents said that the case was dismissed, it said they had filed for bankruptsy so i wonder why their website is still up???

Its a bit dodgy. I cant believe i almost bought stock from them recently.

If you are aware that they have or intend to file for bankruptcy, do not under any circumstances place an order now.

It is a mine field trying to negotiate good solid reliable suppliers, and even after you manage to dodge all the scams and the straight out bad suppliers, there are situations where suppliers have been perfectly good in the past have issues that cause these type of situations to arise.

Good research on your behalf looks like it's possibly saved you some cash in this situation, but far better to play it safe for now either way.

Hi everyone,

On December 28, 2009 Yahoo Small Business experienced a widespread outage for the majority of their Yahoo Stores websites including the Queen Bee site. The outage was resolved but there was an 8-hour period when the website as well as our e-communications were down. Many thousands of businesses were affected. Thankfully, Yahoo was able to resolve the issues relatively quickly.

Queen Bee, founded in 2002, has been in business for almost 10 years. We have sold our products to clients throughout the US, Canada and in over 40 countries. Our customer base continues to grow both in the US and internationally.

Our primary concern is our customer's satisfaction with our products. We work diligently to provide authentic European designer handbags and accessories from designer manufacturers directly. Our relationships with these manufacturers are very important as they play a vital role in the satisfaction of our customers.

If anyone has tried to contact Queen Bee via Internet during the outage on December 28 and we have not gotten in touch with you please accept our sincerest apologies. Please try again and one of our representatives will contact you as soon as possible.

Wishing you all the best in the new year,
Rebecca
