Can I trust

I ordered a pair of shoes, and then I was asked to pay via paypal to a seemingly random hotmail address.

I am afraid to make the payment, in case it is a scam.

I've been a bit stupid, having sold some converse shoes online, thinking I could dropship them from
I thought the site was legit.

What to you think?

I think you need to make up whatever plausible sounding excuse you can, and refund your customer asap. I doubt there's a 1% chance that is selling genuine goods, if they are even fulfilling orders.

Hi flyvefisk,

I agree with Frank! I highly doubt that this supplier sells anything authentic at all.

We all know that it is often a challenge finding suppliers for branded items but you should never fall prey to any of the Chinese sites. Remember that authentic and Chinese/China don't go together in the same sentence :) Meaning your chances are slim to none in finding authentic products from Chinese suppliers.

All the best!
