Hi Guys,

After being burnt many times before especially using liquidations, I've decided to create a new forum (free of advertisements and sponsorships) and totally free to users and suppliers for us all to use as a feedback mechanism ONLY. We WILL not use it to advertise anything, just feedbacks. We can go there and post our experiences with all the suppliers and if they truly deliver what they promise (quality/price). We can create a ranking and help improve our experiences. In this economy every penny is important and should not be wasted. The new forums is called (guess what?) suppliersreviews.com

I am not trying to compete in anyway with Salehoo, as a matter fact I love it (that's way I paid the fee) but I think our judgment should not be biased in anyway. Please let me know what you think and if you like it, PM me and suggest the sections/categories that need to be created

thanks,
-A

Please note, so that I don't get tagged as trying to compete with Salehoo or promote a new website, that's 100% not true, here is what I just told a member in private:

As I've pointed out in my message, I don't and will not allow suppliers to list their merchandises on suppliersreviews.com. It's just a forum to tell stories (good or bad) and rate suppliers or private seller from Liquidation.com, that way they will know that they are being watched upon and it won't be easy to screw people up. If they do a good job and live up to their promises, then they will be praised. If they don't then we will uncover them.

thanks,

Sounds like a good idea, but are you talking about all suppliers of products, or just Liquidation.com as it seems from your copy of the message?

This type of thing can of course already be done here, just by starting a post, but I can see you want to dedicate the whole site to it, not just a thread.

It's a free world should you want to list other info, no one here will take offense, it would just be another resource for people to use.

thanks fudjj,

as usual you are the driving force of this forum. I would like to dedicate a whole website only for feedback, no advertisement so that the website won't biased in anyway. I own a server and can afford a free website, so why not.

The idea is simple, anyone who bought from a supplier (liquidation.com or other) can post his/her feedback. This way we will know who is professional and live up to a good standard and can get more business from us as buyers, and suppliers with bad feedback would have to work hard to improve their image or lose our business.

If you like the idea, please register at the website and also list the categories that you like to see listed in the forum. I suggest a new category called

Suppliers under which every can add the name of the supplier he/she dealt with. Please we need to make sure that all the info is not offensive and accurate, the last thing we want to mislead people.

Sounds good, we need something that can sort out all the rubbish from the good, without any tainted info getting in.

BTW, thanks for the kudos, but I'm not the driving force here, I just spend too much time in front of the PC.....lol

I'll drop over and take a look.

Cheers

I still believe that it's in our interest to start a non-biased forum just for feedback. Please contribute with your opinions as this is for our own interest.
thanks,

I had been a member for quite a while now but was too busy trying to find supplier source and price comparison to see what I can sell at a flea market. So never taken any time to write anything but I had to stop and take some moment to this thread. For myself, I thought this was a good idea I did in fact have thought of this as well becuase there are plenty of seller out there that doesn't delivered what they promised.

Although Liquidation.com has been very good on resolving such issue but it is our rights to know what kind of seller we are dealing with. I myself has had a couple of problem with a couple of seller and I really would like to inform others about them. I think that the information will benefit us in many ways such as time and effort, not to mention money.

So in closing I will visit the site when time is available and post some of the seller that I would like to warn others about so that they don't have to go through what I've been through. Thanks

I think I can turn off this option so that even non members can see the post, do you think we should do that?

I think that it would be better if you had people register and log in to comment. That way you have a better idea that you are getting real posts and not just SPAM. Also, if you decide to do some sort of newsletter down the road, you've got all the emails. Of course, I recommend getting member permission before adding them to any mailing list.

perhaps a section containing information regarding the price listed on ebay, amazon and other marketplaces, vs ,the price listed by the supplier taking shipping and handling costs from the supplier into account would be useful, especially true for overseas suppliers.

Bizmancooke, a good idea. what do you want to call the section?

jg42122: do you suggest we shouldn't allow signatures?

Also guys there is some momentum starting, so register and contribute. Do you have any issues with the wholesale/liquidation stuff?

I received my first sample pack from ppwdg and I will comment about it in suppliersreviews.com. There is already momentum and a first sample pack review with pictures under ppwdg.
