One for the members selling online in Oz.

Just curious as to results of sales from the new auction format from the Trading Post. I assume some members must be using it by now?

My own personal opinion is that this auction option will fast become a very viable alternative to ebay here in Australia, especially while they keep a free listing format.

Ok, I'm guessing from the lack of response that not many Australian members are currently using the Trading Post's auction format for some reason.

I can't work it out, everyone complains about ebay fees, and here is a free option getting a stack of hits a week and it looks like no one is using it.........can I be so stupid as to ask why you would be prepared to just keep giving your money to ebay when there is a serious alternative?

Anyway, it won't be free for much longer, November 30 I think, but if you want some free listings now, no success fees upon sale, and solid traffic, then go to the Trading Post and enter the promo code word with you listing.

'FREEPROMO'

NO, I'm am not affiliated with Sensis in way, shape or form, I just can't believe that local members aren't taking advantage of this thing while it's on offer!

It's actually taking a lot longer to start moving than I anticipated really. Know idea why, had a long free period, now that have free listing fees till March I think.

Big national advertising campaign to back up what is already a well respected brand throughout the country, and still the auction side is struggling to get traction.

Finding it hard to work it out to be honest, everyone is complaining about ebay fees, yet this resource is being ignored for the most part.
