Watchcloseouts.net - Are their watches for real?

hi, anyone know whether these guys sell watches that aren't replicas or seconds.Ive read some good reviews on them but in the forum there are some horror stories of people who have brought from them and the watches leaked etc. Don't know who to believe, are the bad reports just a minority or not.I do wonder about the prices being so cheap, some seikos etc are gray market goods made in other countries with not so high quality components. But they are still a seiko.

I haven't personally purchased from watchcloseouts.net, and I am trying to gather as much information to help you somehow make a fair judgment. There's this line in their site that goes - "Are your watches authentic?
Yes, we only sell authentic goods. In many cases, the items are shipped to us direct from the manufacturer's warehouse. We have been in business since 1999 and selling to happy customers from our website since 2001. We DO NOT sell any replica items. We are so confident about the quality and authenticity of our merchandise that will pay $1,000 to anyone who can prove otherwise in writing." Link hidden: Login to view

There have been five reviews in the supplier's profile page which are all generally positive, and those reviews were from actual purchases from 5 different individuals, from year 2007 to 2009.

I'd like to add that from Link hidden: Login to view WatchCloseouts.net is a much lauded enterprise, earning sixteenth place at Top100WatchSites.com, and a rank of 43 at ConnectingWatches.com';s list of top 100 watch related sites.

Hopefully we can get more useful feedback from other SaleHoo members.

this is a site i would personally stay clear of, clicking on there ssl certificate simply takes you to instant ssl website and not to the certificate of the website.
if this was my website and i had been trading for so long i would ensure something simple like this was correct.

have you tried phoning them?
sometimes it is very easy to tell if they are fake etc if you speak to a live person, they should be able to answer any question you fire at them with them being in business for so long.

A website i know based in the uk is Link hidden: Login to view is a trusted website.
not so much a good range compared to watchcloseout but at least if you order with this company for sure you will receive what you have ordered.
