Hi,

Before I purchased SaleHoo, I bought from wholesale list called Link hidden: Login to view. Be careful as I joined and they offer a 100% money back, which I found out later that you have to pass a little test to get a refund.

1. If you're not satisfied
2. You have to find a cheaper list on the market that gives you the same or more than their's.

Well, once you purchase it you have to accept their terms before you can look at it. And that's where they get you because they say you accept this entry you lose. So, my advice to any one thinking of buying their list: Stay away as they will not refund your money! I don't know what they are afraid of if they won't give your money back. They are SCAMMERS and stay away. SaleHoo has lived up to what I am looking for. Maybe that company should look after it's members a bit better then people won't want a refund. I found their forum has a lot of unhappy members and there is a lot of hidden traps so be careful.

Cheers,
Darryl

I have talked about that site on here many times as being a SCAM. It's listed on just about every scam alert site out there..In addition its one of Nick Destanfano's sites and he's reputed to be about the biggest scammer on the net today....

BEFORE you spend your money always at the very least do a google search on the site or company that you intend to do business with..Normally if something is bad about the company or site google will turn something up....

NEXT,,,Always check the a few of the scam alert sites:

Link hidden: Login to view
Link hidden: Login to view
Link hidden: Login to view
Link hidden: Login to view
Link hidden: Login to view

Next do a 'who is' search to find out info about the site'
Link hidden: Login to view
Link hidden: Login to view

ALSO...Check out:

Link hidden: Login to view (and look under the links for 'business scams' and 'not recommended'.....

MOST IMPORTANTLY: ALWAYS come into the forum and ask first before you spend your money.....It will save you alot of headaches....

Good point Darryl,
I'm glad that you brought up this issue as i asked the same question on a previous thread, was accussed of 'bashing' and 'bitching', did not receive a reply to my question and the thread was closed by salehoo admin........
The reason why i asked the question was for advice/clarification as being a new member i was actually considering buying one of their packages advertised, which apperaed to have been endorsed by salehoo!

Alot of sites advertise different banners on their sites as a way of improving their rank listings. Also alot of scam sites advertise banners such as paypal but the bad thing is that they aren't really affiliated. Most of the time the links don't really work...Alot of scammers use many different methods to make their sites look legit....It's really hard to determine the good ones from the bad... Most sites even have the ' glowing testimonials' about how great the sites are and how much money they have made, snapshots of paypal earnings, but you can buy cheap software that will do all of that for you....About the only real way is to ask and hopefully find someone who has done business with them to find out what kind of service they are really giving to their customers...This is where sites like 'scambusters' and watchdog come in handy....

One trick is to check all the security seals on the bottom of the sites and see if they link to the security site or not. Many scam sites fill thier sites with alot of security seals. Now ask yourself why a site would need more then 1 security seal.

Then click on them to see if they are active and go to a page just for thier site.

it dose'nt matter the pri cks got my money and won't refund it and why are you not worried about the name salehoo advertised on their site. it piss me off that they can do that and no one give a sh it. if i met that person face to face i would'nt hold back. and if it hase'nt happened to you than you don't give a toss on who gets burnt and who does'nt.

I myself have probably purchased several hundred lists over the years. Not to mention many Tv Infomercial Get rich quick packages, And those free conferences where they try to bleed you out of thousands after the presentation over the years. But to be honest I have never tried to follow thier money back guarantees. Of course all of them were useless in most cases and alot had information I had already known about.

I guess I never really put much thought into it. I just considered it ok info and moved on to the next

The main point we are trying to get across to you aussiebares is that you can't really tell if a site is honest and going to abide by what they are claiming just by looking at the advertisements and banners and security seals that they plaster on their sites....

All of these things are just 'FLUFF' to sweeten the bait...

I myself like Jimmy, have spent thousands of dollars on all types of programs and website memberships trying to improve our business and learn more ways to do business....Do you want to know where I learned from the most???

It was from my mistakes...Plain and simple...We all make them, wether it be getting ripped off by scam sites and bad sellers, or just a bad decision on our own part....What you have to do is to learn from that mistake and try not to make it again....Turn it into a positive by moving on ahead and learning from it....And don't be afraid to make mistakes, because if you are not making mistakes, then you are probably not doing anything at all....

And if you wish to be successful, the copy success.....By this I mean to look around and find sellers and sites that are successful and try and copy those methods...I'm am not saying copy as in steal their info and details, I'm saying learn how they do business and what types of products and advertising and promotions that they use and then try and incorporate that into your businesses...

But back to the main point is that gaining information about websites and sellers is what this community forum is all about. Everyone is here to help other members and that is what makes this site unique among all the other site forums on the web..

Always come in and ask first, BEFORE you buy, or do business with an unknown site...It will save you a lot of headaches and a ton of money.....

Too, I have posted a list of 'SCAM ALERT' sites in this forum many times, they are an excellent source for info on any site that you might want to do business with and you should take a couple of minutes and check with a couple of them before you make a decision on wether or not to do business with any company.....

yer i hear what you are saying, but it burns me that these pri cks can get qway with it. And if no one says anything than they will fester like a open wound and rip other people off as well. Somewere down the line you have to make a stand, it is no good to say take it on the chin and move on, you have to stand up, and take some sort of action to weed these ass holes out once and for good. I know you proberly been down this road many times but it has to stop or the very least slow the process down so others can enjoy a better place to do business, with peace of mind.
thanks
darryl
