Hi,
I found US Suppliers, Chinese suppliers etc, but I am not sure if the Wii Products are compatible with PAL for Australian Users, if I purchase from the US. Can anyone help me with that?
Also, other than Ooi.com.au are there any other Australian Wholesalers for these products?

Thanks for your help

Hi Maupd, and welcome to SaleHoo

The US is the NTSC format, they will not play on the PAL format that we have here on Australian consoles.

In regards to wholesale, it's an area I may be able to personally assist with, however I am talking genuine wholesale, not drop shopping. Feel free to drop me a PM if you like, give me some details on what it is you are looking for and the volume you are wanting to purchase in.

Cheers

Thanks Marc for your help.
I am looking for Wii Consoles and Games. Not sure of volumes right now as finances are slim, but hope to build up if I can get some selling underway. Ebay right now for me is very slow indeed!
I would be most grateful for any help and also prices per unit/game etc. One place in the US had some good prices on Consoles but I wasn't sure if Aus Buyers could use them here. OR is it just the actual games that have to be PAL and the consoles can be used anywhere? That's what is a bit confusing for me right now.
Thanks again,
Maureen

Hi Maureen,

NTSC consoles can be used anywhere, but they can only play NTSC games. In regards to selling in the Australian market, I know I see a lot of NTSC games listed here, but I'm unsure if the sellers are catering for a demand or just hoping to score some easy sales from buyers who don't know that the games won't play on PAL.

I suspect the later, although you can have the PAL consoles modded to play the NTSC format, so perhaps their market as the NTSC games are far cheaper than PAL

I wouldn't personally think that the market for an actual NTSC console here would be that great at all, but that's just my opinion.

In regards to wholesale buying, you would be looking at a spend of around 5000-6000K for tier 4 pricing, and of course there are 3 tiers above that, so you can imagine what the spend limit is to obtain genuine wholesale prices

Thanks again Marc,

Sorry I'm very new to all this. What is tier 4 pricing?? So can you buy individual Consoles and if so what are their prices? The American Wholesale Consoles were selling at about $140 - $160 each if I remember correctly

No problems at all Maureen,

Tier 4 is essentially the bottom floor in the wholesale games/consoles market. It's the base price they will sell to you for, then the more you spend, the larger the order, you start getting better wholesale prices as you move up through the tiers.

I haven't checked for a while, but I know tier pricing (the absolute best prices) came in at around a 10k spend per month. You won't get genuine wholesale pricing on single units, in fact wholesalers won't even establish an account for you.

You would be more looking at drop shippers if we are talking about single unit purchases. You can send a request to support@salehoo.com and the team will do their best to find you good supplier leads for drop shipping.

Ok! Well that's good to know. Really grateful for your help. I will contact the support and see if they can help with drop-shippers cause unfortunately the funds aren't there right now for Wholesaler purchases.
kind regards,
Maureen
