Hi. I am buying Chinese Iphones and they are costing me 150 euro each.
I think I have asked all the right questions in relation to the product's authenticity. Is there anything I should look out for when I recieve my sample this week. Many thanks for any advice from you.

You only really need to know one thing Dave, you can't buy genuine iPhones from a Chinese manufacturer.

They are guaranteed fake!

Doesn't matter what the seller has told you, you have just purchased a fake iPhone sample, so at this stage of the game I can only wish you good luck!

Let me guess, the supplier is in the Fujian province? Been a while since I really looked at what was going on in that market, but most iPhone crooks were set-up in that province last time I looked.

The Chinese market was completely saturated with electrical products coming out of there, especially iPhones.

On the positive side, you have only shelled out for a sample, could have been a lot more costly.

No doubt in my mind it's fake, you just simply can't source genuine apple products through Chinese manufacturers, in fact if you call Apple themselves, I'm sure they will be happy to tell you the same thing.

Quick question, what site did you buy your phone from and how did you pay for it?

I hope it's not the site you have mentioned above. I wouldn't go near that site myself. If they aren't scammers, which I believe they most probably are, the products are fake.

The hotmail account is a good indicator of a fraud site, without taking absolutely anything else into consideration.

You can do a WHOIS check, try typing their name into Google with the word fraud or scam, see what you get.

If you want to stay away from scams and fakes, you really do need to stay clear of Chinese suppliers if you are going to buy branded products.

Yes good advice from Fudjj,
Chinese manufacturers also make reasonably good quality UNBRANDED phones and cameras and these are fine if bought from respectable wholesalers like Chinavasion or Lightinthebox.com and also Tradestead.com. These UNBRANDED items come at a price you can make a reasonable margin on. I can understand why you wish to sell BRANDED products but every man and his dog is selling the same as you and competition is extremely high, but with UNBRANDED items you are less likely to run into the exact same item and each product stands on it's merits and your reputation as a seller. I sell 100% UNBRANDED items on Ebay with no perceivable detrimental effects. All the above mentioned suppliers give 12 month warranty and they stand buy it .... Others don't but these guys do. Check them out
