Not something we have, but what is it that you are wanting to ship and from where to where?

I am personally involved in a business that deals in importing cars, bike, boats and all sorts of things, so we of course have transport contacts to move these types of things throughout the USA, as well as ship internationally, so I may be able to assist personally if you give some details.

I don't quite follow, we don't really have a place.

We operate an import brokerage, my business partner and myself, so we negotiate deals between US sellers and some US buyers, but mostly international buyers wanting to import from the US into Australia or to other international markets throughout the world. Once we close a transaction for a client, we then arrange to have the car, boat, bike or whatever, delivered direct to the customer if they live within the USA or delivered to our warehouse where it is shipped to the international customer's country for them.

So I'm a little unsure how we can be of help. Can you explain what it is you are doing exactly?

It sounds like you want to sell cars, bikes and such on eBay and then have them delivered to the customer when sold. Is that correct?

It would be helpful to give me as much information as you can so I can understand exactly what you are doing and how we could best help. If you want to take a look at our website, the address is Link hidden: Login to view, but I'm not sure that will be of much help to you. Send me more detailed information and I'll see how we can possibly be of assistance to you.

If you would prefer to keep details private, then just PM me and we can continue the conversation in private.

Cheers

Yes exactly. So can I list your transport on my eBay site and then when my customer buys it you will help me blind dropship it. It is it possible for you?

I can see a few problems here, but the one that sticks out the most is setting the transport price for customers. Of course the cost of getting anything from point A to B is the distance between the two, and since you will have no idea as to where a buyer is upfront, it will be impossible to set a transport price.

How are you going to resolve that problem?

Can I also ask where you are getting the cars and such to list to begin with?

Well, I will start listing the your vehicles from your website. If you do not wish to ship, I can list but the buyer would have to pickup locally. However, if you can ship your vehicles within your country, than you can tell me shipping quotation. Which country are you in?

We're a brokerage, not a dealership. The cars, bikes and so on, that you see on our website don't actually belong to us, nor do we have possession of them personally. What you see listed are items that sellers are currently advertising to sell, they consist of a mix of private sellers and dealer's items from throughout the USA.

Essentially everything we list on our site is a free classified for the seller. The listings are designed to show our mostly international customer base what is currently available for sale and import. Anyone then interested in anything they see on the site can engage us to negotiate a deal between the seller and themselves and then arrange delivery for them on the close of a transaction.

The items listed on our site can sell at anytime, we do not have the exclusive rights to sell them. So if you listed anything form our site on eBay, you would be running a high risk of the item actually being sold before you had a buyer through eBay. If you don't already have a source of cars and such you are able to list, then this idea is going to be a nightmare for you to get up and running.

Are you going to offer pre-purchase inspections, and if so how are you going to make those arrangements with the sellers. How are you going to pay the sellers for the vehicles and such if you make a sale on eBay. How are you going to make arrangements to have them meet the transport driver when they arrive to collect the item and so on. I get the feeling that you haven't quite thought this idea right through just yet.

In regards to transport, we can certainly arrange to have cars and such transported throughout the USA, as well as internationally as well, but it's impossible to give a transport quote up front as it all depends where the item is located and where it has to be delivered to. For example, let's say you have a car listed that is located in LA, then delivery to a customer who purchases the car also living in LA is going to be vastly different to delivering it to a customer that buys it in Florida, so it's just not possible to quote transport up front.

Cheers
