Do they deal with individual ebay sellers? i don't have a ebay store or company. I am just a individual ebay seller and want to buy at wholesale price and sell on ebay so i can make some money. I am planning to do a ebay store in the future when i get enough income and build up my inventory on my ebay but at the moment i am very new to selling on ebay and haven't got enough to start my ebay store i will have to start building up first.

Just like to know if this company deals with normal ebay sellers for their wholesellers.

Hi Mark,

You will need a registered business that has a tax id to open any wholesale account, wholesalers only deal with business customers, not general public. If you don't want to register a business id, then dropshippers would be your best bet, many of those do not require business registration.

Cheers

How do i register a business, that means do i have to already have a business. Ok that is worrying me now because i don't have my own business and owning your own business costs money. I just have my own ebay account not a store so i just want to sell on ebay, and once i build up my inventory i plan on creating a ebay store but that is not now as i need to save up and build up.

I didn't know wholesellers only work with businesses, i am really stuck then. How can i make my own business without any income at the moment.

I am just worried now, i have been very excited joining up but now that wholesellers only deal with people who has a business i am not so sure now.

Please explain more so i understand thanks. Any info or advice.

Without any money behind you, wholesale wouldn't have been an option anyway as it requires Minimum Ordering Quantities. So dropshipping would seem to be your best option.

Have a read of this, it will explain supply resources for you.

In regards to registering a business, it requires registration of a business name and getting an ABN from the tax department here in Australia. Very straight forward, no big deal at all if you did decide you wanted to.

Office of fair trading (consumer affairs) in your state or you can go to a state government licensing centre in your area (if you have one) Just call the Australian Tax Department to arrange your ABN

OK, if they stipulate no MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity), then you won't need to worry about that at all.

Cheers

Just doing more research now because the companies are located in United States, will this really save me much money buying wholesale, i have to pay the international shipping (USD) and the cost of the products are all in USD. The conversion rates from USD to AUD to high, so how much money/profit will i really be making, is it really worth it. After research i don't think i will be saving much or making a any profit after the international shipping cost, conversion rate of the product to AUD $$.

I think i should search on Australian supplies.

What do you think? any feedback and advice would be very helpful.

Two points to focus on with this question

Regarding wholesale. As I mentioned previously, if you don't have expendable cash to use to purchase wholesale, as you mentioned that you didn't, then dropshipping would be about your only option, you'll have to forget wholesale until you get some cash behind you.

Regarding price. Dropshipping does have its advantages, however price certainly isn't one of them. I'm not really I a position to comment on if it is worth dropshipping from the US or not, that's something you can only answer by researching the market to gather that type of data. That will answer those sorts of questions for you.

Cheers
