Hi all! New here and looking for some guidance. I've been doing successful websites for others and finaly decided to start some of my own. Tired of watching my clients make all the money. I'm looking for some mid to upper end home decor suppliers. My searches on Salehoo.com mainly brings back more novelty/gift item types of products. Not what I'm looking for. To be a little moore specific I'm looking for items like large wall clocks, lamps, decorative wall shelving, silk plant/floral arrangements, area rugs, ect. Any sugestions would be gratly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Ok all, this is one of the reasons I joined here is for community help. I'm getting nothing so far. Do I need to post for iPhones or iPods to get a response? Which I know is ludicrise in making money or getting ripped off but everybody wants to sell them. Beets me why??? They just don't get it I guess! Anyway, I'm attempting to build a LONG term business in home decor, not the latest FAD electronics, and could use some feedback if you have it. I would really appreciate any feedback and in return, can give you advise on building web stores, SEO, etc....Thanks!

Unfortunately if no one knows of a supplier as you have requested feedback on, there isn't a lot of useful information that anyone can really post.

It seems that you are looking at larger items, and I am assuming that shipping would be a serious issue with you when purchasing with your business model, so perhaps if you dropped in your general location, some members may well have some info any suppliers in your general area.

Are you looking for all new products, second hand, liquidated stock.......might help if you break it down so others can give more specific advice where possible.

Thanks for finally getting a reply fudjj!

Yes, could be some larger items but don't really care as you do not know my business model. Think of it this way, everything gets shipped. Don't care were they come from as long for right now it's usa or canada and can drop ship. I'm not an e'bayer and am never the lower price on the block. Don't want to be! In fact the excepton and believe me all it works if you do it right. So back to the main point, does anyone have cantacts with mid-high end home decor dropshippers?

Ok, perhaps I should point out here that my job description as Community Manager is to assist members WHERE I am able, hence me not replying earlier....however your thanks for me at least trying to assist at this point is GREATLY appreciated!

As for me not knowing your business model, you're absolutely correct, in fact you original post, and your follow whine gave absolutely no indication that you were looking at drop shipping as the resource.

What, everyone is just expected to know what you want?

I suggested shipping maybe an issue because I had assumed, from the dramatic lack of relevant information, that you were looking at buying in stock, not some drop shipping platform!

You don't care where the products come from, as long as they are from USA or Canada....interesting little disclaimer, you see I would consider that to mean that you do care where they come from, but that's just me!

You want members to assist you, I would suggest that you don't cop an attitude with them as well or they will also steer well clear of offering any advice in the future.

Good Luck, I'm getting the feeling you may well need it...but that's just me!

Ok fudjj, I was not trying to cop an attitude as if you knew me, I don't have one. Being new on the forum I absolutley left some things out like looking for dropshipping suppliers as you pointed out but isn't that what this forum is for? I won't do that again...I promise. Also as far as luck is concerened, I don't believe in it. Just hard work and a good business plan.

I did get some private emails that might be helpful and did find a few suppliers on salehoo that I am contacting. So now I'm back asking the community what I origanally asked with some modifications.

I am looking for mid to upper end Home Decor suppliers in the USA and Canada such as large wall clocks, lamps, decorative wall shelving, silk plant/floral arrangements, area rugs, accesories, etc. that will drop ship. This isn't for eBay but for several different full fledged ecommerce web sites. Not looking for closeouts or discontinued items.

Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance and also any suppliers to stear away from would be helpful too!

Planes whats up with your remark? I believe this thread is called 'Wholesale Supplier Wanted'. Everybody posting in this thread is asking for some help. As far as research, I have done hours and hours of it on this subject and have found at least a half dozen so far, here and elsewhere, that might be worth a 'test' buy to see how they produce and service. I would like to have a dozen suppliers befoe I launch my stores and if a member comes up with something I havn't uncovered, I would so graciously apreciate it. That being the case I do plan on contributing back especialy on web marketing, website design, hosting, shopping carts, SEO and so on. These are what I make a good living at. Also there wasn't anything demanding in what I was 'asking'.
