I'm new to Salehoo and I am currently interested in selling cell phone accessories/speakers/etc. I would like to know, how do I talk directly to a manufacturer? What do I say to them? I am interested in talking to manufacturers in China that have these accessories because they have the lowest price for NON BRANDED items. If you can find me a manufacturer for branded items then that will be okay too.

Unless you have tuck loads of spare cash, not even worth thinking about branded phones. China is another matter altogether, very simple to purchase non-branded phone, actually it's simple to purchase FAKE branded phones form there as well.

Not suggesting anyone buys fake, just making the point. In regards to buying from a Chinese supplier/manufacturer, it's as simple as sending them an email with your purchasing requirements and that will open a dialogue between you.

From there, business can start flowing if you both come to agreed trading terms.

Hello. I just happen to read your post. It is really hard to talk directly to a manufacturer "n China to buy goods directly. It takes alot of money, a lot of research and some knowledge of trade and tax laws or regulations. The best way to go about it is to pay for services that will ensure everything checks out - a company to checkout the company you wanted to deal with. Pay escrow fees for making a payment - if the company you are dealing with will allow escrow. Pay a company that will take care of your freight - taxes, processing and all those things. Aside from all this, you will have to buy in bulk to make the cost even make sense. I you buy in small quantities - the whole process alone will cost you more than you will make from it.

Look for reliable companies that you can deal with locally or in the same country as you are that deals directly with China. You buy from them and they make some profit of the items but that is the price you pay for all the convenience of buying more securely and at a lower quantity.
