Hello Everyone,

Well I've done some searching but I havn't been able to find what I'm looking for. I was trying to find some LCD and Plasma TV's, but most of the ones I find are no namers or priced the same as most retail stores. Like everyone else here I was hoping to make a profit and I don't see how if I purchase TV's that arn't at least a few hundred dollars lower than retail.

Plus I've never used dropshipping, but I'm sure it would be nice to have if I was going to start selling these TV's online, so I would also like to know of any other good Dropshipping sites.

Here are some of the other items I was hoping to start selling:

Ipods (I found some on DHGate, just waiting for them to come in)

Plasma/ LCD T.V.'s

Laptops (most of the ones I've found are really old and are a really hard sell at most places since people want whats current)

PC parts (such as Video Cards, CPU's, Sound Cards, etc)

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hey there,
I am just wondering if you have had any luck? I have looked for some before with no luck.
Please let me know.

Amy, I think he is looking for wholesale pricing. As always looks like you gave out sites to discounted pricing. There is a difference between discounted and wholesale.

So far only 1 or two of the sites I've found have some items that may be worth purchasing, but mostly everything is too close to the current market price to make anytype of profit. Some sites are even higher than the market place now, (Like Megagoods, Electroninerd, and a few others) so it's making it hard to find a source that would work for me. I'll keep looking and let people know when I find something worth looking into.

You can never make a profit from dropshipping electronic products. NEVER. Whatever you buy them for, they will be already selling at less than your purchase price on eBay. The only way to make a bit of profit on such items in to buy in HUGE quantities. You can't get a good price purchasing a dozen or a few at a time. Call the cops if you think I'm being a naysayer, but it's just impossiblle to make money dropshipping any popular sought-after electronics. I'd like to shoot whoever it is on the internet who is giving false hope about electronics dropshipping to people looking to earn a few extra dollars online. There are a few people a week on this site hoping to find electronics dropshippers who can help them start an online dropshipping business. It's just not gonna happen folks!

Can't argue with that point, just doesn't happen.

Two things you have to know about products like televisions.

1. The mark up is not huge to start with. Hoping to find a tv a few hundred cheaper than retail is like finding the Easter bunny. The only hope you would have is dealing in the top end stuff where the percentage is greater.

2. If you're looking for a drop shipper, forget it. You would need to be buying in serious numbers to be getting a decent wholesale price.

Sorry, but it's a waste of time looking.

Another point when considering selling electronic products is the after- sales service you will be expected to offer. When purchasing electronic products the buyer will have an expectation that the seller should offer a warranty period. You also need to know a lot about the product you're selling in order to answer the many questions that will come your way if you want to sell them on eBay. So many people have been scammed on electronics that the market is now very wary of purchasing this kind of product from eBay where they don't really get the same level of guarantee as they would if purchasing from a reputable retailer or reseller.

The only way to make profits on electronics on eBay is to purchase them by bulk or through a liquidation company. I sell electronics from lcd tv's, PS3, nintendo wii, camcorders, cameras, lcd monitors, home theater systems, dvd/blu-ray players, etc. and I make a decent profit to where I don't have to work. I do this right from our home full time. I'm just lucky enough that I found a company who liquidate their damage box merchandise which are brand new. It took me two years to find it and it took risk that my first purchases from them were not profitable. I just got smarter and took a lot of research.

Some pallets I buy from them, I profit about $450-$1300 net so it is pretty good. Not all of them are pallets though. They also have per packages. For example, I bought two professional monitor that they liquidated because both unit has a damaged box probably due to shipping or from their warehouse. I bought them for $2000. I just sold one on ebay for $2089 last month so the other one is pure profit. By the way, these monitors retails for $2799 =)

So the only way to make a good decent profit if you sell electronics and plan to compete on ebay is by buying bulk through liquidation companies so I definitely agree to the above post that dropshipping electronics will not be profitable period!
