Hi, I am new to the forum and Salehoo.

There is a treasure of information on here! We are looking for a supplier (hopefully dropshipper) of anything related to motorcycles.

I found one on here but unfortunately when I contacted the company (The Helmet Source) they stated they had a 'freeze' on wholesale accounts because they don't have the manpower to process the orders.

Does anyone know of a reputable supplier(s)??

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Simpledistributors.com was one of the first dropship companies that I looked at because I too like motorcycle accessories. Their add look great but their wholesale price versus 'suggested retail' is the biggest ass lie I've seen if your looking to dropship from an auction site like ebay. I thought 'Cool, I can buy this leather vest for ten bucks and sell it for fifty on ebay!'

Negative.......you can find them on ebay for eleven. I studied so many of their products and every single one is being advertised for a two to three bucks over their wholesale price and you better hope that if you do sell one, it's in stock as this seems to be the biggest problem dropshippers have.

ON the flip side.....Driving to Fort Worth last weekend I pulled up to a light and there was a vendor in a parking lot all set up with all sorts of leather goods and they all looked familiar so I stopped and lo and behold.....most of his inventory was products from Simpledistributors and he was making a modest little chunk of change.

The lesson here?.....As wholesale products, they're not bad if your gonna sell them flea market style but as a dropshipper, your wasting your money and time.

Do yourself a favor and research product by product before you decide to buy into the dropship deal. I'm sure there are some out there that at least partially work but I found more small, new stores on ebay loading their virtual shelves with products from simpledistributors and 'hoping' something will sell for five bucks over the wholesale price.
