Although I heard that these big designers doesn't sell wholesale, but I would be interested in finding a legitimate company or companies to sell AUTHENTIC handbags, sunglasses, and clothing. I am a new member and also a single mom (ok, so I had to throw that in :-) ). I want to be able to make some income to support my daughter and myself.

Any help is truly grateful!

Thanks,
Yvette

@Leon,

I'm unable to find Hot-sales-outlet.com's physical address (it wasn't on their website) so I can't tell if they're China based or not but with those prices, they may very well be. Their Hermès Birkin bag, for example, only costs around $200, when the real thing may cost between $9,000 to $150,000! I checked their website registration, and it says that their website was registered in San Diego on Nov 25, 2010.

I wouldn't recommend them personally. Number 1, the prices of their products are just too cheap to be authentic, plus, they're new (only 4 months online). Generally, you'd want to deal with suppliers who have been online at least a couple of years. Of course, this is not a guaranteed way of telling whether a supplier is good or bad, but genuine suppliers have usually been around for longer than 4 months.

@Yvette,

Designer goods may probably be the hardest products to acquire. If you are going after a brand-name product, then the stakes are high. Companies with top brand names want to protect their brand value, so they are very careful about who they distribute to. They simply don’t want everyone selling their stuff on eBay at crazy prices, because if that happens, then the market value for their products will go down. How brands control the distribution of their goods, obviously vary from well, brand to brand. More than likely, the more tightly controlled the distribution channels are, the more 'premium' the product is. Louis Vuitton, for example. They don't do wholesale. Their products are sold exclusively through Louis Vuitton boutiques or their website. As with other high-end brands, if you look for a wholesaler, you’ll find it very difficult to find one selling authentic goods. Although, you can sometimes get brand-name accessories from wholesalers, and you can bid on liquidation lots containing designer goods at liquidation and closeout suppliers. Liquidators get closeouts and salvage items directly from some of the top department stores, so they frequently have some designer brands in their inventory.

Has someone found a good drop shipper for such handbags?
a drop shipper that doesn't charge a drop shipping annual fee?
