Hi,I'm Calvin from Malaysia..A total newbie here, just joined Salehoo last week..I find that the wholesale price of gaming consoles in the websites provided by Salehoo is even higher than retail price in Malaysia..

For PS3 80G,they're currently selling for MYR1400(US Dollar $500)..I don't how their price can get that cheap..I'm currently looking for a reliable yet reasonable priced dropshipper to get me electronic products such as gaming consoles, digital camera,etc..

Hope you guys can help me out and i would like to say 'thank you' in forward..

Hey Calvin, I don't know how much of assistance I could be to you but remember that it takes time and research to start a business. There is no such thing as 123 easy step system to start a business. Much time and effort is needed, other than that you also need money. Take some time to research for items, and have some money available all the time for the time that you find that niche. Also don't just look at the individual unit prices but look at bulk, cause thats where you can really get profit.

Hey there...thanks for the thoughts and advices!!Really appreciate it..Actually i did some resarch about it,and it is undeniable that doing business in bulk is the best way to get more $$$..but for the moment,i would emphasize more on individual unit prices because i dare not to take such a big risk to purchase everything in bulk,so i think dropshipping would be the ideal solution at the moment...

Suprisingly, the wholesale prices in the websites provided by salehoo are higher than the retail prices here in Malaysia!!That is why i need you guys to share with me any reliable and reasonable priced dropshipper..*i don't mind lower down my profit margin*

Once again,thank you..

Regarding prices advertised on Salehoo.

A lot of prices you will find advertised here are from brokers, people who are already buying from a wholesaler and then passing the products on.

When you do find a genuine wholesaler their advertised price may not seem that great, but they will be unable to give you an accurate wholesale price until they know what quantity you want to buy.

Wholesale prices work on volume purchasing. The best thing to do is always contact the supplier to nego, because most times the prices you will see do not reflect volume discounts.

If you don't wish to buy in volume then save your time looking for a wholesaler because even if you found one that would supply one item, you would not get it at a wholesale price, brokers and drop shippers fill that market, and you pay a premium price for the products.

The fact is my friend, in Malaysia, these big boys team up and buy PS3, XBox etc in BULKS. Nothing beats that. THey buy in thousands and that is why the PRICE IS CHEAP! As newbies, stay away from gaming market if u want to do bussiness. Its hard to compete with the big boys who play the cads by BULKS
