I'm interested in drop shipping shoes and I'm looking at the info for Shoes For Crews in the Salehoo directory, there is not much data on them although the one small review given is positive.

My question is, since they are just a manufacturer (as well as a retailer) I would like to know who they use for liquidating their surplus with? How do you guys go about finding out who companies use to get rid of their excess stock?

Hi roni3d1,

I highly doubt that information is readily available, even with a Google search. I would say your best option is to inquire directly with the supplier if they actually liquidate any of their surplus stocks. If they do, you can also inquire what their requirements are so you can check if you can comply and actually buy surplus stocks from them.

All the best :)

Hi roni3d1,

I have just called on them to confirm. They said that they release any excess stocks they need to liquidate only thru a clearance sale at their retail store in Las Vegas.

They are very accommodating and if you have further questions you may call their toll free number 1-800-523-4448

Hope this helps. :)

Yes,
thank you both!
That helps me understand what "I" need to do to check not only with shoesforcrews but also gives me a general idea on how I check about
other company's surplus stock.

Thanks again! :>

Just some followup info if anyone else is interested in ShoesForCrews.

I called the 800 provided to find out what happens with the surplus shoes that can not be sold in Las Vegs. The girl that answered said I would need to talk to sales about that.

She connected me to a guy, I think his name was 'Leonard'. I told Leonard I wanted to find out what they did with the surplus shoes that Vegas didn't sell because I was interested in purchasing them.

He laughed and said he didn't know but would ask someone.

After what seemed like being on hold forever (actually it was probably less than 5 minutes:>), he came back and said they don't do ANYTHING with the shoes - they put them on the website and keep them there til they sell.

I needed to leave as I was in a bit of a rush and didn't have time to really ask him further details.

So, I assume this means that even 'returned' items get 'refurbished' and placed back on their site.

Anyway that's what I found out if anyone's interested.
