Survival Equipment - US based Suppliers Needed

Hi everyone

I am have recently joined SaleHoo - In that time I have reached out to a number of US based Wholesale/Dropshipping companies with little success. I have personally spoken with a number of the wholesale companies, trying to pin down their actual wholesale price list... with little success.

I have been researching Outdoor Adventure Equipment / Survival Equipment for some time now, & what I have found is that many of these wholesale companies are selling their own product on Amazon US for the same price they are selling them to their wholesalers. I was hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction, as I am hitting one dead-end after another.

I have considered that my Niche may have a saturated market, which may be the reason for the competitive pricing... but my research on Alibaba has shown that there is still some profit margins still available in my Niche.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

The prices listed on the suppliers' websites are mostly in retail so contact them directly for their dropshipping price. As you are probably well aware of, dropshipping is not the same as wholesale in terms of pricing and the profit margin you can have. Rather, it allows you to test a market without too much risk, and expand your product range without having to invest heavily in stock. :)
