Thats just something you will have to answer yourself. Its based on how much product you can afford and what you know enough about to sell succesfully. Check prices and do some products research on average selling prices of many items to see what can be profitable for you.

Take a look at these websites. They are suppliers of products for American dollar stores but they also ship internationally so may be suitable wholesalers for your Australian business.
