Hi and Welcome to SaleHoo RafaSanchez :)

Begin with a product that you are passionate about, something you know very well and can easily promote. So ask yourself what are you interested in? And do a bit of research for the latest trend in your area.

Or may I suggest selling a few things from around your home - so you can test the market and see which things are easy to sell and which are not.

Have you downloaded you copy of 'What to Sell for 2010'? If You haven't I suggest you do. You find amazing tips and our suggested 10 hot markets to try for 2010! To download please go to

I agree. Your own hobbies and interests can be the catalyst for a great product idea. It’s highly likely many other people also share your passion and need the same items you do, whether that be art or a collectible, craft tools, or essential piece of equipment, such as a snorkel, bird watching binoculars, baseball bat, and so on. Not only are most hobbyists prepared to spend to support their interest, but you as a seller will already have a lot of knowledge about the product, which will make sourcing items and marketing a lot easier. Sometimes, friends and family can be the source of an idea. Perhaps they are all having the same trouble finding the perfect baby carrier, ergonomic gardening tools, or kitchen grill. Just 3 or 4 people looking for the same thing can indicate an opportunity waiting to be grabbed.

Let us know when you're ready to research suppliers and we'll be happy to help you out.

All the best!

Hi RafaSanchez,

You may also try to do a bit of research and see what trends the Spain's market is currently into and choose products based on what is in demand. I've read that Spanish consumers are becoming more health conscious, and that there is a strong predisposition towards organic based cosmetics. Link hidden: Login to view

We have several organic cosmetics suppliers listed in the directory. Let me know if you need help searching for these suppliers. :)

All the best!
