If any member did that they wouldnt be niche products :D This is something you will have to find out for yourself. A nich product is a product line a seller specializes in and basically holds thier own on because they were either the first seller to sell that item or they have the best source for those products.

Im sorry but this is only found through painstaking research. No member will reveal thier niches if they have them. If they did then thier niche would be gone and all thier profits would be lost as soon as that product is flooded by other sellers. I myself have lost about 7 to 8 niche products myself due to other sellers flooding the market with the same items and forcing the prices below a profitable level. Its also forced me to move my niche products to a different account that nobody knows about since several members here know my original username :D

You're a kinder, gentler guy than I am, Jimmy. ;)

Hmmmm, I just made a post about niche product in the 'starting out importing' section on a question asked on title: 'Another Kiwi'.

Certainly niche products are falling out of the sky, but they can be found. But you do have to go out and look just a bit..

The main problem today is that everybody is so caught up in the get rich overnight on the internet theme, that no one is willing to go out and find these products..Everyone wants to look on ebay, see what everyone else is selling and turn around and sell that also...Then they wonder why there are no niche products and successful sales..

If you want to find your OWN niche product, the find a 'need and fill it'.

One of the easiest ways to find a niche product is to look and see what types of products are selling well. Once you have done that, then simply look at that product and see what would compliment that product. What would make that product more beneficial, what would be a good companion to that product, or extend it's life or usefulness..what would make that product stand out just a little bit more for it's owner,,things like that.

That's were you will find your niche's..The people who start looking at things like that, and thinking for themselves, will find that niche, but if you want to wait until someone else tries it first and then copying that, then you are going to be left in the dust..

Read my other post, title' another kiwi, in 'starting out importing' for some good niche example success stories...

Honestly I dont think niches are a big thing anymore. The best thing is for a seller to be diverse. Sell alot of different products in several varieties. Not 1 item will make you rich. I had items that were making me 30 bucks a pop. But it only lasts a few weeks. Maybe a month or 2 before others see what Im doing and try to capitolize in on it.

Most of them play it real stupid. They think because I make so much on them that they can put more of them on then I am selling and make tons of money. They dont realize that they will kill the supply and demand properties of a nich product. I was selling most of these items listing only one 3 day auction per day. They were dumping 10-30 auctions per day and literally killed the profit level of such items.

A niche product is only a good thing as long as your
one of few that are selling them and you are being smart about how you sell these items.

So if you truly want to make tons of money, you need to sell a large variety of items that you can profit on.
