Hi all,

I saw somewhere through sale hoo, a survey about the profitability, popularity etc of many different internet market place besides and including ebay! I cannot find it now... Can anyone help me out? I wanted to see it again... It has a graph featuring the market place where sellers made the most profit, where they felt there was the most traffic, the fees were the best etc etc~!

How do I access this again?

I am also fed up with ebay's natural monopoly.

Interesting link, but not sure of its purpose -- what difference does the number of overall listings make? Even simple traffic numbers are more telling than just the number of lisitngs metric.

Hi Frank, thanks for the link, I was not aware of siteanalytics.complete.com.
It is an uphill battle to find a viable market place that is not ebay, although, the powersellersunite site does show, from the seller's perspective there appears to be value listing on other sites (looking at the trends, including sites that have no seller's fees). Another tool would be Link hidden: Login to view, just plug in the other sites for comparison.
