How to Start with Dropshipping

Hi Marc i want to get started in Drop shipping. I have sold some old stuff and i would to ask a question regarding suppliers. Do i need to have a company registered before i start trading with drop shipping companies ? I am based in the UK.

Not all dropship suppliers require a tax id to open an account with, but some do, especially the larger ones. So having one certainly opens up far more choice as to who you can deal with.

Hi Mark. I am based in Sweden. Can i work with drop shipper companies which ask tax id as a sole trader. If it is possible, can a swedish sole trader (registrated just in sweden)work with USA or other countries largest dropshippers?

Yes, just explain to the supplier that you aren't US based and you may well not even be required to provide one at all. It is really aimed at US residents, but if for some reason they do still request one, then your local sole trader tax id should be fine without any problems.

Since you are not from the US, you can also try to provide the supplier at established website, the idea is that you need to prove that you are a serious reseller, and not an end user or part time trader-- worth a try!
