Need suppliers for perfume to sell on ebay

I am brand new so dont beat me up, I already found most of the the below wholesalers, on my own, I have also contacted scented monkey who is the same owner as perfume worldwide, I signed up with all of them got their wholesale pricing, and frankly am not impressed, their prices are consistently beat on ebay. I do have some cash so I can buy in bulk, I am not to keen on buying from liquidators, any advice??

I have signed up with the below.

Top 5 Suppliers: Perfume

* 1) Perfume Center of America

* 2) Perfume.com.au

* 3) Perfume Worldwide

* 4) Perfumes Only

* 5) Fragrance X

Unfortunately none of the pricing available for resellers, is competitive enough to sell on ebay. Scented Monkey and Perfume worldwide also sell on ebay.

I didnt see to many reviewed suppliers in the directory, any sources would be appreciated. I also have looked at liquidators really hit or miss.

Yes, a lot of wholesalers are actually on eBay selling directly to the public! Itâ€™s very unfair, but thatâ€™s the reality and it shows how extremely competitive the marketplace is. :(

Here are some ideas we suggest regarding this issue:

* Order in bulk quantities to drive the wholesale price down

* Sell on another auction site other than eBay â€“ there are heaps to choose from and profit margins are usually better. Craigslist is also a good place to sell if you live in the USA. (Let us know if you need more suggestions for places to sell online)

* Buy liquidation â€“ this lets you get product for pennies on the dollar. (Iâ€™ll let you in on a secret, this is how lots of powersellers make money on eBay these days)

* Find a niche market with few competitors â€“ collectibles and one-off items have amazing profit margins, even on eBay.

Thanks for reply, I am actually considering selling at a retail location, so I am calling the manufacturers direct to see what is required, I already have a Tax Id.

I will call JD first thing is there anyone in the northeast? Im actually in NJ, I would rather pick up my order in person, I have heard some negatives about liquidators!

I am in the USA, who do you recommend other than ebay, I havent found anyone even close to their traffic levels!

Thank you for your advice and the contact!! I have called a bunch of liquidators, no one seems to have a decent supply of perfumes,

I'll share with you our link discussing eBay alternative sites to sell on - Link hidden: Login to view I will have to agree though that eBay's traffic level is something difficult to ignore. With years already ahead of the other sites, eBay's flow of visitors will not be easy to surpass.

And in line with your request, so far, this is the only New Jersey based manufacturer that I found off SaleHoo - Link hidden: Login to view (but geared more on skin care products).

I will try to search further and will update you as soon as possible.
