India, the next supplier superpower

Anyone interested in drop shipping I think should look at INDIA. However you need to be sure they understand your requirements and that they understand what drop shipping is. I put a request on Link hidden: Login to view and was inundated with people trying to for fill my request. Please be aware that many of them do not know what drop shipping is, you have to explain every step, including how and when you pay them for the goods when they ship the goods - every little step. I think INDIA has good prices with a lower percentage of scammers than china, usually products are of a good quality as well.

I have drop shippers in INDIA and have made good deals with them. Also if you are selling world wide many places are cheaper to ship to from INDIA then from Australia. I have items I buy for $82.00 and sell for $197.00, these items are shipped with DHL within 24 hours of me sending the order usually same day. I am payed by customer instantly via paypal, every two weeks The supplier sends me an invoice and I pay them. I do pay a $5.00 drop ship fee which is minimal on items of this value.
I have requested from a few customers to give me a review of the product quality, Delivery times and Packaging, all reports have been good so far. I just tell the customer that this is a new supplier and I want to be sure that my customers are happy - everyone I have asked has responded favourably.

On saying all that you must understand there is a language barrier - or more so a difference in understanding terminology.
You must be sure that both parties are agreeing on what you think you are.

Good advice from Wayne in my opinion.

India has been an emerging supplier hot spot for some time now, and is still growing. Well worth a look for anyone, especially for buying in bulk, not just Dropshipping.

Nothing specific to Indian suppliers that I am aware of, but I would suggest taking a look at that option that Wayne has suggested above.

As with any supplier, no matter where they are. Remember, do as much research on them as you need to make yourself feel comfortable, and then always use a safe payment option, never wire transfer.
