Over the last few weeks I have noticed an increase in members complaining so in an effort to tidy the forum up I have taken it among myself to Compile all moaning, complaints and other things into one nice thread.

I'm not fussed what you want to complain about, the weather, a supplier, your mrs, the exhange rate - I'm not worried I just want to hear it!

Being British and all we love to complain about just about anything, whether its got anything to do with us or not :)

Feel free to say whatevers what is on your mind, I hope this post is still here in 10 years time because it really will be an asset to the forum.

Todays Rant

Customer Service

Does anyone reply to emails anymore? Today I feel like I should be marking all my products up by emphasing the fact I reply to emails within 24 hours. Not that fast but adequete time, I usually reply with in a couple of hours.

Am I the only one doing this these days? The other thing that has wound me up today is a potential customer telling me I don't know how to run a business because I didn't reply on a Sunday with in 15 minutes.

Now this is ridiculous, obviously going to get the odd moany customer but that is beyond belief to me. Reminds of the days of selling clothes on eBay and encountering several customers asking 'Sorry to bother you, but I was just wondering if this will fit me'. Yes mate, I know what you look like.

It seems the good old days of an actual person and a speedy response are dead and gone, its a shame because I like to buy my consumer products from the little guys on eBay rather than putting more money in Amazons pocket, but can't seem to get a response from them anymore. Crazy.

I don't want to point the finger at anyone on the forum in particular but seriously what the hell is going on with PPWDG. You would of thought by now that a companies learning curve and teething problems where over but clearly not.

There are actually other liquidation companies out there you know? Ones that draw up manifests and actually want your business.

P.S this will be removed fairly sharpish I imagine :)

The Exchange Rate

Can anyone tell me when its going to pick up again so I can start feeding the family? I have to resort to using UK companies now, get an email from my supplier in China and low and behold there prices are going up. Happy Days

Actually bit my finger while eating a sandwich the other day, made a complete goose out of myself when I yelped out in the cafe.

How do you tell 23 strangers that your ok, it's just that you bit your finger!

Still have the teeth marks in it, man, I must have been really going after that ham sandwich to leave marks like these. No wonder my poor finger got in the way, it didn't stand much of a chance in the end.

Of all the things I have ever bitten,that ranks right up there as contender for the stupidest :(

If you are lucky you payed with a credit card with buyer protection and you can file a 'NON PAYMENT DISPUTE' and you won't lose any money on the deal and just let Visa or who ever your card holder is take care of the problem. They can get him to contact them back I bet alot easier than we seem to be able to.That is what I've done and will wash my hands with PPWDG and any suggestion Jimmy_salehoo offer in the future. I will not deal with anybody or any company that can't take the time to even return email to its customers. He has found the time to answer my question about the Product PPWDG is selling on ebay, and very promptly I might add so he or some one at ppwdg is answering those emails. Just not a reliable supplier ! !

Here is the work of a man top of his profession and a serious contender for Rant of the week.

Yes, I just can't believe these idiots, and now they have burnt a customer, more than likely a whole lot of them with their ineffective service.

Such a damn shame, because the gateway is working like a charm on my site. I'm getting 100 positive feedback from my customers, they love it, and it's super cost effective for me.

If they could learn how to service customers they would be SENSATIONAL, unfortunately it would seem that is dream too far away :(

Just the other week I was trying to arrange a flyer drop, had 10,000 to get rid of so I thought I would go with the lager companies with that sort of quantity.

I sent an email inquiry the three companies requesting card rates and procedure, no reply. I resent to all three again, no reply......after my third attempt in 5 working day, and still no reply from a single one it was time for lift off Houston!

I picked up the phone, wound up my blood pressure, and was ready to fire at the first thing that got in my sights, but when I asked why it was that my three emails had not been replied to........apart from the automated response telling me how wonderful I was, and how much they loved me and would do absolutely anything for my business type of garbage!

The girl said, Oh' I'm terribly sorry sir, can I ask what email address you sent them to?

THE ONE ON YOU BLOODY WEBSITE was my calm response.

Oh' says the girl once more, I'm terribly sorry sir, but you should been using this email address, which of course didn't even resemble the one on their website.

I'm sorry I said, I didn't realize there were two different email addresses on your site, O'h, for the third time she said, this isn't advertised on our site, but we tell customers to use it because the website one goes into our junk folder and we don't see them.....................

Ok, stunned silence as I try to digest what I have just been told.......upon coming to grips with this late breaking news, I asked, would you not think it would be a good idea to advertise the correct email address on your website so customers at least have a chance of getting a response to their inquiry?

Yes sir, that has been suggested, and management are considering having some modifications made to our current information, but please feel free to use this new email address, and I'll be happy to be of service in any way I can.

OMG.......How is it possible for such a stupid company to remain in business, was the first question I asked myself after getting of the phone.

Then, making two further calls to the other companies just to satisfy my desire for self punishment, I got pretty close to the same story, maybe not as many 'Oh's', but all these idiots have email addresses funnelling customer inquiries into the garbage.

HELP.......someone tell me on how earth they stay in business because I have absolutely no idea!

Here's todays issue:

Why is everyone member of admin here so naive?

Today, I wake up and find a PM from Richelle slapping my wrist for advertising. Then I speak to a friend of mine on the forum who has been denied an advertising membership. and then Jimmy makes some massive post about how great his service is.

Okay maybe I shouldnt be advertising but its okay for companies like light in the box (well known counterfeiters) too advertise here? Something not quite right there.

Then someone else that runs a liquidation company gets denied advertising space? Are members not allowed a decent liquidator who delivers with a year?

I have no desire to use any liquidator but I'm sure other members will agree that two is better than one. Or in Salehoo's case None is better than one.

Jimmy comes out with 'We offer a great service' thats when my world stood still.

Great meaning outstanding? Was that actually serious?

Jimmy I have nothing against you personally your a nice guy, but you seem to be hacking off far too many people and its also run down this community.

Right rant over, I will go over to PPWDG's forum and give some of my input :)

I try to catch these things when I see them. I made this post the same day I saw this scammer Maurice's post. So if you look on the same date as this post that will narrow your search down.

Again, please people. DO NOT deal with individuals you do not know. Most people can't buy in high enough quantity to give you a good enough deal period!!
And on high end electronics your risk of being ripped off grows exponentially.
Plus you are not going to have a good time selling these on eBay anyway due to eBay and Paypals more strict rules on high end items.

Now if you want a deal, look to Jimmy or Fudjj. Two guys that have been around forever and are highly respected here.
Stop giving your money to cons. Sometimes Jimmy is a little slow but he is a stand up guy and will deliver what he promises.

Now this Jack@ss Maurice got exactly what he was looking for. A sucker. No offense, but your money is gone but for good. Do you know how much money this guy made even if he got 20 people to fall for his scam. 20,000 for a cheap website and a few hours posting to forums.

I could go on but I'll stop.

Jimmy may have been around here forever, but that doesn't mean he delivers what he promises. Being one of his original 'Investment' group, that sent him our money in good faith to start up his wholesale liquidation buying business, his communication has been sporadic and inadequate. After receiving 30 thousand dollars collected from members of Salehoo, some of whom are young students who had to borrow on their credit cards to send the money to Jimmy, he has abandoned us to the winds. He really has no idea how to run a business from all observations made. He does not know how to delegate or outsource when necessary. When one member of the group resorted to leaving an angry message here because it was her last resort in trying to contact him, he finally sent out what can only be described as a filthy diatribe email full of cursing and gutter language accusing us all of never giving him any help (despite the fact that he had refused all help offered by the group (one member offered to fly internationally to help and another offered to drive across country, not to mention the countless hours I spent researching products and writing up descriptions and correcting his eBay auction copy) and assured people who offered advice that 'he knew what he was doing'. He now says that 'WE' have lost our money (due to his poor business practices) and that the business is now his, because he restarted it on the back of his and his wife's tax refunds. He does not bother to keep his email folders in order and uses the excuse (email is a thing of the past???) We were also promised he would start another forum for the investors to keep in contact and that also never happened. He never bothers to come into the Skype form started for this purpose. Maybe just as well, because he will find very unflattering comments there if he did. An occasional update is really not that difficult, but I'm tipping the next email, if it ever happens will start 'due to the economic downturn....' I fully expect this post to be removed also, but this rant is nothing compared to the last disrespectful and ungrateful rant we investors received from Jimmy. In fact, I'm tipping this whole rant thread will unceremoniously disappear.

I totally agree with everything said and can feel the frustration.

Thankfully I have never given him any money, the only thing I would give him money for is to leave the forum.

If the rant thread dissapears then I will start another one, I have actually spoken to a few of the staff from Salehoo and they 'appreciate my honesty', thing is they are good people, its Jimmy dragging salehoo through the Mud.

I find this really strange because they would rather remove comments than talk to Jimmy and tell him its not out.

He is not a God, nothing like one. The guy is a broker who uses his customers money to buy products and then puts a load of liquidated stuff in boxes. This may be a viable business if you can let your customers know where they are at?!

I would love to hear from Jimmy or the Salehoo staff on why they allow is.

I was one of the original investor of the group but sadly, when paypal froze the funds, jimmy had to do a reversal of funds so the only way I can send my money was to send him a money order or western union but I never did. I am just curious as to what happened to those investor in the group. I remember from before that when you want to get out of the investor's group, you can sell your spot and I think that was $500 per share. I hope everything will work out with jimmy and those investors.

You had a lucky escape because our money is down the toilet. And as far as hoping everything works out, it's probably way too late for that.

Besides the young students who bought into the group hoping to cash in on Jimmy's hype 'imagine getting 3, 4, 5 times your money back in three months', the people I feel most sorry for are the ones who bought into the group later when some of the originals decided to sell their shares. They came in after the excitement had worn off and have had very little updated information since joining.

I have had so much email from group members asking me what is going on because they can't contact Jimmy and I'm just really sick of it. The reason they email me is that I was unfortunately one of Jimmy's main admirers until he stopped being transparent about what was happening to our money. After he sent that disgusting email to his investors, I sadly lost respect for him as a man and as a businessman.

WoW! The name of this thread should be throw Jimmy under the bus. I can not speak for everyone else here but my experience with Jimmy was great. I have a website similar to Salehoo and I like to test out the suppliers that I list from time to time. I purchased a sample pack from Jimmy and received it in about 3 days and had no problems contacting him by email. He always replied within 24 hours. Once again this was my experience but I feel like something positive needs to be said here. I don't think Jimmy is as bad as you guys are making him out to be. Maybe he has just bitten off more than he can chew.

I really thought the investor's group are making so much money because I read some of jimmy's post and he mentioned that the business is shipping alot of packages and that sounded like money to me. I don't know but Jimmy always come through and explain things thoroughly but from what you posted (userexists), it sounded like jimmy took the money and run?????. WOW! I hope jimmy can see this thread and maybe he can post his side of the story.

When I did not make it on time before the deadline to send my share of $1K, I said to myself, maybe next time I can join the group but a month after that, I was really doing good profiting for myself.

Userexists, do the investors including yourself and jimmy have some kind of a written contract or something which protects everybody's investment money? I know that it cost $500 per share. You guys should have hired an attorney and have some kind of a written contract which protects everyone's share on the business and planned the business thoroughly. I really don't know the whole story but if jimmy is claiming that the business is all his, then I think the investors have the right to take that matter to a court.

Jimmy did not take the money and run. He certainly never set out to scam anyone. He has worked hard as far as I can tell, but juist didn't have the knowlege or the skills to run a proper business. My rant is only really that he has not been upfront and communicative with his investors about the state of the business and he is very hard to contact. He used our money to learn the business and when he learned what worked, only then did he inject any of his own funds and cast his investors to the wolves.

Bloody hell!!! This is a great idea!!! I hope certain people read it.
I have now been trying everyway possible to contact this Jimmy character. Still no response!!! Salehoo threads=no response, Pm=no response, ppwdg forum=no response, respond to autoresponder message from jimmy trying to sell me some affiliate product= you guessed it no response. What does a guy gotta do. I'm thinking of flying down to visit him!!! but i don't want to get you guessed it NO RESPONSE. I understand he's busy, but he can't be that busy that he can't answer a few emails. Can he have time to eat, shower, go the bathroom?????If I don't hear from him soon than I'm gonna focus on building my company and business directly to compete with his and get his attention that way. Anyone interested in this can Pm me and I promise I will RESPOND!!!!

Yeah this topic has definitely been getting a work over.

Before I have a rant myself and respond to the above I would like to take the time to thank the Salehoo staff for allowing members this level of honesty without removing posts, so hats off to them.

I took some time out to have a look at the forum over on PPWDG and see if Jimmy had finally learnt the value of communication. It turns out maybe not quite yet.

There are still unanswered complaints over there and probably more so than was here.

This is what I didn't understand about adding a forum to there site. You get 'X' amount of complaints here where it costs to even post on this forum so the amount of complaints now visible to anyone for free is surely going to damage business further.

I don't really want to comment on the investors group but from what I understand there was a bit of foul play there too. Its a shame as well, an investers group that really should of worked didn't.

Jimmy no doubt has some of the remaining perks of the investors group i.e warehousing etc.

Wholesalelist says this thread should be called 'throw jimmy under a bus' I disagree. No one here is saying Jimmy is a bad guy, He has contributed a lot to salehoo over the years and is a nice guy. What I think a lot are complaining about including myself is the way he now conducts his business.

His reputation on here as 'community manager' has allowed him to receive blank cheques from customers which again I don't agree with.

Anyway, I need a holiday the weather in England is rubbish!

If any salehoo members in Australia or Florida need to fill a spare room for a few weeks/months/years let me know!

The only way to truly be sure Jimmy has read your message is to go and 'ask seller a question' on one of his eBay listings. The messages go through the eBay system and he can't say he doesn't get those.
