Hello !

My name is Petter and im pretty new to this and i hope that someone can give me a few minutes of there lives to clear some thing out.

Q 1 Lets say i import a Reebok shoe from the US to EU and pay all the import tax etc. But isnt it illegal to sell the shoe in Eu as Rebook has a General Agent in the European Union. ( Law of pararell importing European Union) ?

Q2 If im going to start dropshipping in the US whit a company based in EU what do i need to think about ?

Tanx

You need to think about making life easier for yourself and using a company based in your own country or atleast within the EU.

Import and Vat will suck all profit out on branded items, I guarantee it!

Its okay if you are importing from China and making 300% on your investments each time but if not you will struggle with VAT + Import especially if you are starting out. I've been doing this for a few years and avoid importing as much as I can.

It costs me more but saves me a lot of hassle. Avoid as much as you can!

Yeah with small volumes they won't deal with you, try looking for liquidators and buying in small bulk...

I agree with bevesy. Make it easy on yourself.
Now I did have a few buyers from the UK and Euro buy about 15,000 worth of processors from me on eBay. I shipped it very friendly for them so they had the buying power of their money with easy fees.
I don't really suggest this but some people are willing to take the chance.

They are companies who buy closeout/surplus stock off other companies.

If the stock becomes surplus to their requirements then a liquidator buys the goods at around 5-10% of retail and then sells on for 15-25% of retail...
