Seems like I might have seen them in our directory at one time but I might be mistaken. Well anyway, I was thinking of giving them a try but I noticed alot of dead links on there website, or maybe its just my computer. I been having alot of issues since I downloaded the newer version of Internet Explorer. Just wanted to make sure before I dish out money. Thanks!

Hi Patrick,

I checked our admin, this supplier was never a part of our directory, we have no record of them whatsoever :)

As per the whois search I did, they have been online since 2003 but their site is due to expire this year in July. They seem to recommended in a number of articles but there is no way to verify the validity of the recommendations.

I tried all the links in the footer section and all led to dead links :( so I was unable to check on their contact details and their other store policies.

Have you tried calling the toll free number?

I know their stocks look very tempting, but honestly, I'm not too sure about them at this point.

Hope this helps somehow...

Hi Patrick,

If you are after urban clothing suppliers, Satya has gathered a good list in these posts -

Thanks for checking them out for me Richelle. I did call the toll free number that was on the website and I spoke with someone on the phone. She said that I could pay over the phone with a credit card but I asked her if she could email me a price list for the womens clothing on there site. She stated she would email me with the information in about 30mins, but never did. I didn't call back. I thought I would check with the Salehoo community first. I am a firm beliver in paypal which I didn't see any where on there site. So I'm not sure how to take them.

Also, thanks for the info Irene.

Basicly, I have been gearing up on urban clothing to start selling at the local flea market where I live. I have purchase clothing thru Stealdeal.com which isn't listed in our directory but they have been great thus far. I noticed that some of the urban wholesalers in our directory seems to carry alot of the same merchandise. I plan on using urbandenimcompany.com real soon but haven't tryed them yet. I also email uptownwholesale.com asking for information how to become a reseller and didn't get a reply.

My main focus is to sell women's urban clothing in my community but it seems the variety among these sites are limited. I know the best way to do this is to become an authorized reseller of the brands I would like to sell. Nevertheless, I am still a newbie and I don't think I meet that certain criteria as of now. So I am taking baby steps.

You're welcome Patrick,

Well you certainly are taking the right baby steps :) Being cautious and wary of the suppliers you deal with especially those you find outside our directory. Personally, I wouldn't be too keen on giving my credit card details over the phone to a person I know nothing of. As a an online buyer, PayPal could be your best friend when it comes to making safe payments.

I'm not sure if you have, but do download you copy of our New User Manual - it has great tips on supplier hunting and how to deal with suppliers the right way, here's the link Link hidden: Login to view its #6 down the list.

Many of the more experienced online entrepreneurs would recommend that you contact the brand owners and become an authorized reseller, this way you can get higher profit margins since you get your merchandise direct from the source. I'm sure you'll get to this point soon!

If you need help reaching the suppliers you are interested in please don't hesitate to let us know.

All the best :)
