I have noticed that a lot of the items I will be selling from a dropshipdirect.com are listed in ebay stores rather than in auctions. Is there a reason for this? I have seen dropshipdirect recommeded several times throughout different forums. Any thoughts...

PS. I have learn more in the 4 or 5 days of being a member of this site than I have in nearly 50 hours of internet research. Thanks!

If there are not many auctions running of what you want to sell, take advantage. Alot of sellers try to sell from ebay stores rather than auctions to keep fees low. I run auctions to advertise my ebay store. It only costs 11 cents max to list an item in an ebay store.

I use Auctiva for a listing designer and additional photos. I than list in my Ebay store for .06 cents. Basically just do the gallery pic and sell items below 25 bucks. Otherwise the fees go up. Though I do list higher end items. Also I do auctions and fixed price lisiting to drag customers into my store.

Also people store those items in thier stores because after a few weks those listing will show up in google searches. Have you ever searched google or froogle for an item only to find the first 15 listings are ebay store items. Ebay has struck a deal with google where they have thier store listings show up on google. Also featured items can show up on google searches. This way a seller can sell thier store items cheaper and for the price that they want to sell the item for.

Has anyone tried Google Base Store Connector? It takes keywords from your ebay store for google searches. (It's Free)

If you start an ebay store it only costs 11 cents max to list in your ebay store. To list an ebay auction, it costs same.
