Hello,

I am not sure of any supplier's that will sell to a small company or seller at that. You typically have to sell a min of 100,000 or so a year to qualify as a reseller, lol or maybe my figures are way off but I know you really have to be in the business to sell in high volumes.

Hopefully someone else will chime in to assist further.

Hi Helena,

As Don have already pointed out, you will need to source through Apple themselves to get the best price, and they have a huge minimum order quantity.

Don't be fooled into buying from Chinese suppliers offering you 5 or 10 units, they are simply scams where you will loose your money, or at the very best the phones will be fake.

Apple is the brand owner, and Apple own the distribution rights to their products.

For further information on all Apple products, I would suggest that anyone interested in supplying Apple products actually contact Apple to inquire about their distribution network, and how they can access products through it to resell.

Hi Helena,

Welcome to SaleHoo!

Just to add to what fudjj said, it's hard to guarantee that these Chinese suppliers will always offer authentic brands where advertised, or that they have the distribution rights, as the vast majority of brand-name goods that come from China are either replicas or fakes. Companies like Apple are starting to come down like a ton of bricks on anyone flouting the law. Your merchandise can also get seized at Customs if officials do an inspection and realize it is not legit.

To know more about dealing with Chinese suppliers, you might want to check this out:

Are there any other products that you are interested in selling? We’d love to help you out. All the best!

Hi Helena,

We do have suppliers from other countries that do sell iPhones at wholesale prices not just China. But what they (fudjj and dwmgoods35) were trying to tell you is that to get the cheapest and best price for any Apple product your best choice would still be Apple themselves.

Here are a few suppliers based in the UK that you may want to check out:

Hi Richelle_salehoo i see you posted 3 links there... and i´m just wondering did you check those 3 if any of them where scammers?..... i´m just 1 of those paranoid dudes who just wants to check everything as best as i can, before i start ordering.

I have my eye on Low Price Deals 4u wich seems like a nice site i have been trying to find out about their site but it has been a little hard i gues.... just wondering if u knew any who has been buying from them?

Best regards
Total Rokkie :D

Hi Mettinisson,

I totally understand the cause for such paranoia... who wouldn't be when you hear of scams here and there. But the 3 links I mentioned in my previous post are all verified and trusted suppliers of SaleHoo. You can try searching for them in our member's area so you can take a look at their profiles to learn more about them.

Sorry but we do not have such records. Please note that all business transactions are done directly between the member and supplier, so nothing goes through SaleHoo, hence we have no records of who buys where.

Hope this helps. Cheers! :)

Hi Zhenda,

Just so that im being as respectful as possible, First I wasn't the one looking for iphones I was just stating some truth about inquring them to the other member. Secondly Since I am prejudging here by looking at your UK ebay store, I see that all of your phones that you have listed on there are coming from Hong Kong, Now from what I see from browsing that would be a No, No to recommend as a supplier to anyone looking to sell them on ebay.

Hi everyone,

Dwmgoods35 had a point. If you are a reseller on eBay and your wholesale supplier is also selling on eBay, then, it would be a disadvantage to you because you are practically competing with your supplier. However, if the supplier is selling the goods on eBay @ retail and you get your goods from them @ wholesale which means that you can offer competitive prices without losing money, then, that should be okay.

Also, that is one strategy that a seller can apply-sell on other eBay sites to get more views and to target buyers from a certain country. As with Zhenda's store, they are based in Hong Kong but they are also listing their products in eBay UK but as long as the listing states the item location or where it is being shipped from, then, that should be no problem.

Have a great weekend, everyone! :)

Cheers,

Those supplier are way off in prices, we don't even make a profit and even sell at a loss with some. Like 1024.95$ for a 32GB Iphone 3GS Unlocked Come On!!! This is not called wholesale price. This is called loose your money if you try to resell.

Hi sweet_girl56, I hate to say this but its really going to be hard for you to find a true supplier of apple products. Rules to go by, never deal with china suppliers with most electronics. Second, in order to really make money with iphones, you have to deal with Apples Direct to get some form of partnership, from what Ive heard they have a realy stiff sales and volume requirement. Im really not sure you will find a true iphone supplier elsewhere. If you read the other posts above its just not looking good all around. Im sorry to say.

Amazon sells the ipod touch for 269.00. My guess is they make about 5 or 10 bucks per unit but sell maybe 10,000 per month. And its probably more like a 1000 per month.
Look at the eBay and Amazon prices. That is probably as close to wholesale anyone can get.

You might be able to buy from Amazon for 269 free shipping and no tax and sell on Craigslist for 275 as Bestbuy has them for 275.00 but that's about it.

if you guys are serious about dealing in apple products ..i think its best to buy refurbished ones or cracked glass ones and do a little DIY on them and resell them ..you will have a greater margin then buying them wholesale and reselling them

norman ross in auckland ,new zealand just stopped selling apple products.they said that they loose money everytime someone uses a credit card /finance term to purchase one of their apple products

apple has a strict reseller policy ---one of them being that they need a certain amount to be sold every month if they are to maintain the reseller 'right'

as for me i am always trying to snipe the odd iphone on ebay so that i can put on new case on it ...add some value and then resell it

easy 50-100 dollars

my 2 cents

If there are enough resellers interested in setting up a co-op for what we need to make a good profit from Apple let me know. We can do a combo of escrow or other for pooling to get enough to do this, this maybe the only way to go for hard to get items at the right price to meet MOQ to get at the best price. I'm all for it is anyone else?

I have a nice supply company in mind as well who only sell legitimate and genuine Apple/iphones, I will contact them once I get a pool of about 20-50 others interested and I also have a good plan on quick profit return which even bypasses ebay selling, with good profit for anyone interested in this which is why we are here. We will seal the deal with maybe signed supply contracts and bank guarantee to make this work. Let me know.

Its good to have a forum but how about getting your hands dirty with a buying pool/co-op salehoo, any thoughts on this at all. Of course there is the legal banking money side of this to consider and iron out but how about it, what say you?

These are the Apple price fixed prices, they are not restricted to international borders and because of this monopoly can make sure wholesalers sell at the price they demand as these 3 links show, all around US$800-816 in price, I am very sure it would only cost US$20-45 to make one of the iphone units of all places in China, my reckoning is apple make about $500 per unit in any place in the World. These Wholesalers would be about the 3-4 middleman if I'm correct, what we need is a 2nd or 3rd middleman to get them at a decent price factory unlocked and new. This structure needs to be Foxconn factory, a real wholesaler at good price then me or anyone else who wants in.
