Hi, I'm after a supplier who sells bulk lots of brand name Tennis Racquets such as Head, Babolat, Prince, etc. I don't want someone who sells them at 'wholesale' price and the price they ask is just below the RRP. I'm located in Australia so obviously need them shipped here. Thanks for any help.

I'm sure the support staff will do their best to get you some leads, but I would think that sourcing wholesale stock from Australia may well be your best bet.

You say you don't want a supplier that has wholesale prices just under RRP, but do you know what the actual retail mark-up is on these types of sporting goods, I don't personally myself, but you may well find that the mark-up isn't high and the base price may well be closer to RRP than you want.

The volume of your purchase is also going to play a role, so a couple of things you need to factor in I guess.

Good luck with it.

I tried searching for an Australian based supplier but unfortunately I was unable to find one that was suitable.

Hope this helps. All the best! :)

Thanks Richelle,

I've had a look at them and I'm hoping DHGate sellers aren't selling any fake ones, I'll have to have a talk with them before buying anything. Thanks for your help.

Hi ckearnes,

That's the thing, you can't really expect to buy authentic brand name items from Chinese suppliers. Having a talk with them is a good idea. Try investigating further and asking for documents to prove the authenticity of their products.

All the best! :)

Talking with suppliers is always a good idea, but if you are trying to buy brand names you run the risk of simply being told what you want to hear, regardless of what the actual truth is.

With documantation, I've seen replica documentation that the brand owner wouldn't pick as fake. Seriously, if they can make a tennis racket that looks legit, they can replicate paper work without too many problems.

As Richelle has said, If you want brand name tennis gear, forget about China......and that's the best advice anyone will be able to give you, full stop!

Thanks for that guys... Yeah, I'm staying away from them, I've read a few forums regarding fake racquets that even pro shops are having problems distinguishing as fakes. Thanks
