Just wanted to pop in and say hello to the community. I have heard great things about Salehoo, so i signed up last night. I currently do not have a clue about what i want to sell online or off.

I currently work on a loading dock for a trucking company. Its a good 9 to 5, but i have always wanted to work for myself making myself rich not some jerk who watches me sweat.

I have some sales background mostly door to door Kirby sales. But hey i sold 2 in 3 months! This was long ago though and i didn't really like that kinda selling.

Originally i thought since i am into Radio control airplanes and helicopters that i would try my luck at a online RC hobby shop selling alot of chinese generic electric motors and such ESC's and Lipo batteries.

But it seems so niche that it would be feast or famine. Anyway this is getting long and i have alot of studying and reading to do so i can find my way into the big world of E commerce.

Until later everyone im sure i will be back on here with many questions.

Hi dannyrevs, welcome to SaleHoo, nice to have you part of the membership.

No doubt in my mind that it's an interesting field, and I always think it's a fantastic idea to market what you know best, if at all possible. For me, it sounds like a genre that is really well suited to developing your own site, then using channels like eBay some generate traffic.

The advantages of that kind of strategy, the margin may well be quite low on a competitive site like eBay, but if you are not relying on it to generate all of your income, then you can build a very sustainable long term enterprise.

Plenty of research for you to do anyway, lots of fun lol
