I am new to internet business and in UK I am researching products to sell, all reasearch results seems to reflect america pictures not UK rates

My questions:

1. How do I get the details of research products in UK although I want supplier from any part of the world as long as their margin is good for what I choose to sell.

2 (a). I already have a registered company please I need to know how tax returns are made and should be made for locally sourced products and internationally sourced ones such that when I calculate my profit margin it will be profit indeed.

2 (b). And/Or do I have to get to a profit level before starting to make returns I went to tax HM treasury website there are loads to read, I am dying to get how experienced sellers handle the issue pleeaaasssseee.

3. I saw a simple silicone rubber watches for children on ebay and I couldnt see any result for this on salehoo to research, does this mean salehoo has not researched it or salehoo doesnt deal with such or I dont get how to search for it.

Please help its a new interest that I want to successfully do without leaving any stone unturned.

Hi lfe,

Welcome to SaleHoo :)

Kindly refer to my answers below -

1. How do I get the details of research products in UK although I want supplier from any part of the world as long as their margin is good for what I choose to sell.

To use and search in the directory please click on the Directory link you will see on the topmost part of the SaleHoo page. You will be led to a page with a Search box where you can type the product/keyword that you need suppliers for.

You can filter the suppliers search by order requirements (no minimum order to brackets of price order required) , by category and sub category, by location (drop down list of countries, or set to UK as you prefer) and by type (dropshippers, wholesalers, manufacturers, liquidators). You can also choose to filter those who can ship internationally and/or does not requiring a Tax ID. :) To see these options, just below the green box for Search, you can click on 'More Options'. Set the filters you need and click on Search.

2 (a). I already have a registered company please I need to know how tax returns are made and should be made for locally sourced products and internationally sourced ones such that when I calculate my profit margin it will be profit indeed.

Sorry, I'm not too familiar with how VAT/taxes are computed in the UK. But you might find the links and tips in this guide helpful -

You do not need to register for VAT until your turnover (from either your sole trader business or your Limited Company) is over £70,000 in any 12 month period.

I ran 'silicone rubber watch' on the SaleHoo Research Lab and was able to fetch results, please refer to this screen shot -

Please note that the SaleHoo Research Lab uses results from the previous month. The data will renew/update every 7th day of the month. Also, that it only searches eBay.com at the moment.

Hope this helps. Please let us know if we can help you with anything else.

All the best!
