Yes this is because of the seller strike from the 18th to the 25th

Actually, most of the numbers seem to be from the end of the listing fee discount promotion ending. Numbers the week before the promo were in the 12 million a day range, then they ran up, now they are back in the 12 million a day range.

After watching the youtube movie, it substantiates everything people have been saying....so why have they done nothing?

Ebay will do nothing. Thier fee changes are geared for volume sellers. This is not good for volume sellers that make small potatoes per sale but more toward sellers that aquire items below wholesale.

They are satisfied with the problems they have caused so far and dont look like they are going to change it much.

That video doesn't substantiate anything ... it makes a lot of claims and insinuations but doesn't actually provide any kind of backing. A silly propaganda piece.

Mind you, I think eBay's recent changes are utterly asinine and if I had not already been driven away by idiots there years ago, I'd certainly leave now. But all of this bluster and propaganda is childish.

I especially like how they treat Meg Whitman's upcoming retirement as some sort of part of the crisis at eBay. She's nearly sixty, she's real real real rich, she's been with eBay ten years, and she's retiring. No big deal.

eBay's recent stock dip is insinuated to be a 'plummet in value' when in fact it is a dip off of a recent sudden surge in value (kind of like the false statistics being bandied about about how much damage the strike did) Look at a one year, then a five year chart of eBay's stock and you'll see what I mean.

I think my disdain for eBay is pretty clear from other posts I've made, but everything I'm seeing about the strike just makes me think that the erstwhile Ron Paul internet supporters have taken up a new hobby.

I think including an image of Hitler in a video about eBay may be about the dumbest thing I have ever seen. How can that even relate?

I have been reading some articles and it seems that the so called strike had little or no effect on eBay at all. The eBay machine marches on! Too bad we are the victims!
