Hello there.

I have a question.

When dealing with Chinese Manufacturers not all of them have Pay Pal.

I wrote to one and said how do I trust you.

They wrote back and said they are a Gold Member of the Alibaba site and if they don't be honest with that they will lose there rating. Plus Alibaba will not recommend them.

They also said they have held there Gold Rating for a 3 years and they have to pay Alibaba to keep a good rating and for them to keep on eye on the company and that they are doing good things.

How would you view this or handle this one.

Its not giving lots of money over I just want to not get ripped off.

Thank You in Advance

Hi Lisa,

When it comes to any supplier, Chinese or not, we would never recommend using a transfer service and for very good reason. You have absolutely no recourse to any money back claim when using that type of service. Of course it's ultimately your choice if you are happy to take the risk, just understand the reality of it the transaction turns out bad.

In regards to being an Alibaba Gold Member. Memberships on Alibaba are paid for, they aren't earnt by good business practices, so I wouldn't personally put much credibility in that personally.

One other note of caution. If it's branded items you are considering buying from a Chinese supplier, then they will be fake. 100% absolutely fake, no matter what the supplier claims.
